Some great moments captured and perhaps some worthy entries for the Caption Competition!! :D

Kangaroo's air guitar pose wins funniest wildlife photo of the year

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-11-23/ ... /103140454
A kangaroo rocks it out in a field of wildflowers, clearly in the zone by the look on her face — it's the height of comedy.

Or at least that's what the judges of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards thought, bestowing their top 2023 prize to photographer Jason Moore for his aptly named photo, "Air Guitar Roo".

Up against 5,300 entries from 85 countries, Moore's prize is a safari tour in the Masai Mara, Kenya, where the potential for more animals in hilarious situations awaits.

Here's his winning image alongside other category winners.

This morning we had two very different and large butterflies/moths in our garden - one resembling a Vulcan nuclear bomber and the other one was the biggest I can remember seeing with a wingspan of a good 6”.

The 2nd photo/moth is spectacular - quite something!

The 1st looks very similar to moths I saw when working on a site in Cambodia - it was just after "Rainy Season" and we were inundated with them. Big buggers to say the least....

Could well be wrong, but I believe the best/easiest way is to post on Youtube then put the link on here. BigBoy has certainly done this or similar on several occasions (car video), so can likely advise.

I for one would be interested in seeing the vid! :thumb:

Yes, YouTube is the easiest way to get a video to play on the Forum. The other way is to post on a Social Media platform such as Facebook, which I know you avoid.

Something you might want to try, before uploadng to YT, is edit vid speed, when having fast moving critters (wings mostly or jumping), is slow it down in editing software, to .5 or .25 normal speed. Surely iPhone has vid editing software.
I do it quite often myself. If having sound in vid, usually best to mute that
This is actually slowed down 50 or maybe 75% of original:

Along the bottom of the playback page is a star shaped "settings" option. You can slow down, or speed up, the display to whatever suits the video.

It is somethings useful if you want to see more detail, or the other way around, speed it up to bypass some rubbish. My point is that it does not need to be done with any editing before you post it.
