Songtaews and Zoo ??

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Songtaews and Zoo ??

Hi
I wonder if anyone knows if the songtaews running between the airport and Khao Takiab have some sort of timetable?
I have also heard that there will be a small zoo between Huahin and Cha-Am,
someone who knows where.

Songtew has no regular schedule but they do stop around 6pm when it gets dark. Just waive one down when you see it coming your way.

The 'Zoo' is half way between Huai Sai Tai and the Bypass on Chom Pol Road, north of Hua Hin just past the new 'Fly Now' shopping centre.

It's not a zoo anymore though, it's a breeding and research facility. It wasn't much of a zoo when it was a zonn either. I don't know if you are allowed to visit these days.

There is also a wildlife resue centre somewhere near Cha-am/Tha-Yang at Khao Look Chang but I've never been. http://www.wfft.org/index.html
