Live music in main bar in Hilton Hotel

Post by expat71NL »

If anyone is looking for a nice bar with good live music then try the bar in the Hilton Hotel. I don't mean the disco bar behind the boat restaurant but the bar inside the hotel (go into the main lobby and it's on the left-hand side). They usually have a girl singer singing western classics (from Nat King Cole to Celien Dion). There is a pad on each table for requesting almost any song you would like to hear. It's free but the drinks are a bit more expensive. If your looking for somewhere romantic to go with your wife or new girlfriend then ...............

Terrace 90 has had a lady singer on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights?) on their upstairs balcony that does 60's and 70's oldies very well. (I go on some Friday's for the 199 b buffet).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Every time I am in Hua Hin I usually stop by for a couple of hours, the group of three are very good and can sing almost any request you ask of them, there is usually not many people there even in high season ......

She does requests?

How about Raining Blood by Sepultura?

You laugh?

ah well...heres Nouvelle Vague doing the "lounge jazz" the Dead Kennedy's Too Drunk To F**k

personally Id rather cut my hand off than give the Hilton a single baht....go down to El Murphys and catch the Stone Head Band instead....best live act in HH IMHO.

The last time I was in Hua Hin you could pick a girl up at one or two bars down Soi Binthabat. Typically Tropical you say you can pick a girl up at the Hilton, are they high class hookers or is it where the bar girls go after the bars shut down, but surely the Hilton would close it's bars at 2am also ? Please forgive my stupidity. Thanks

What stupid comments, and this coming from the person who has made the most complaints about the moderators - nice one, very constructive.

Yes- Hilton closes at 2, most amble over to the karaoke district then, there is a good latenight dance music bar there for the younger crowd. I believe there is a nightlife map on this site somewhere.

I'm not knocking El Murphy's and other bars with music so loud that it's impossible to talk. Everyone to their own tastes. If everyone liked exacly the same there would only be one bar in town and everyone would go there. Let's have variety!
