That was crazy town this morning. I’m at the end of 88, by Immigration and that was one of the more intense storms I’ve witnessed since living here. Thunder and lightning, high winds, and very heavy rainfall. It’s all stopped now, but the water level in my pool hasn’t gone down. Just about to overflow!

Yes I had to drain some off earlier - I think I’ve had to do it about 3 times this year although most years it’s a lot more so still down on total rainfall this year!!

Well obviously the great umbrella above my property is working quite well.
We had rain early this morning, some quite heavy but nothing to shout about. Saw the lightning but certainly not that close.
It wasn't enough to bring the dogs in. They were quite happy to stay in the garden.

If I thought yesterday’s rain was heavy, it might be beaten today as it’s absolutely hammering it down at the moment and the sky looks like it could stay that way for hours!!

My pool is definitely going to overflow now! It’s been coming down steady for over an hour now, and we have really loud thunder.

Yes I had to set the pump system on drain to avoid overflowing - that’s two days in a row now!!

Fantastic thunder and lightning show. Hit a tree quite close. One of the best I've seen for a long while.
Not a lot of rain though. I expected much more.

That’s down to the 112 umbrella - we must have had at least 25mm on Saturday and 30mm on Sunday - I’m hoping for a dry day today so that I can get the grass cut - it literally looks to have grown by as much as we’ve had rain over the past 2 days!!

Although I didn’t hear it, we obviously had heavy rain overnight as the swimming pool level has increased by some 10-15mm!!

Looks like the end of the world is coming soon - dark skies, heavy wind and rain and a liberal does of thunder and lightning - at least it’s cool today!!

Not sure how widespread it was, but we’ve had a most ferocious storm for the past hour - heavy rain and some of the loudest thunder I can remember, with of course some fairly scary lightning. Fortunately it’s almost stopped now, but lots of laying water!!
