I agree, sometimes one loses sight of what is happening with one's own team whilst slagging off another team which is in a transitional period
Blooming heck! 5 years is a bloody long 'transitional' period.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.
The following quote is not related to the Premier League, but as it relates to one of the most talked about players in the league I will post it here - it comes after yesterday’s England Euro qualifier and specifically relates to Harry Kane and his work rate!!
“Kane, admittedly helped by a regular supply of penalties, is building a truly remarkable body of work with England. He leads from the front in every respect, his tireless work ethic and consistency a touchstone for this modern England, while his partnership with Sterling increasingly looks like a natural, telepathic fit.”
I've been listening to it all afternoon on Sky Sports News. Quotes such as the best centre-forward in the world, the best centre-forward England have ever had, etc., etc. It's amazing what 2 penalties and a tap-in against the mighty Bulgaria get you.
Maybe he should try playing in League 2 for a while. Do you think he could score as many past a 4th tier goalie as he did against last night's 5th tier keeper? I'd have expected lowly Plymouth Argyle to beat that crap last night. Scoring penalties against a poor International team does not deserve any accolades in my opinion. He knocked in a few against crap teams in the World Cup finals, but went AWOL when the opposition moved up a notch.
If I supported a club that signed a guy who had killed not 1 but two young children, I'd have washed my hands of the club that minute.
Not BB. He advertises his love for the club at the bottom of every one of his posts. Has the audacity to call Kane a 'liability'.
Words fail me.
Edit: I simply don't understand why Kane gets so much stick. He has his off games, sure - who doesn't. Rooney got stick as he enjoyed being in the limelight and threesomes with hookers. John Terry the same except the hooker was his best mate's wife. Beckham got stick for similar to all of the above.
Kane?
Simply put - he plays for Spurs. That's why he gets stick.

Ooh, trying to hit below the belt to distract attention from a guy being hailed as a hero for scoring a tap-in and 2 penalties against a 5th tier goalkeeper from the German leagues.
He did his job - he is not a hero. It is the stupid accolades he receives - I used to do my job quite well, but was never told I was the best in the world, or the best the Civil Service had ever had. It was quite funny listening to the pundits going on about the guy. I simply turned to my son and said they must be Spurs fans.
I honestly don't understand how anybody can rate a footballer who goes AWOL for 95% of most matches. Yes, his goals are essential, but imagine what a decent player he'd be if he was around for 30% of a game.
Hmmm, our summer signings aren't working out as hoped. Sessegnon been injured since we bought him, Ndombele played 2 injured for last 2 and now Lo Celso is out for up to 2 months with a hip injury. When I hear 'hip injury' I hear 'recurring injury that'll be an on/off problem throughout career' - A La Erik Lamela.
FFS!
Will be alright though. As long as Kane stays fit.

And don`t forget, Spurs have the "best" manager in the world
Where is the best place to watch the games on big screen in Hua Hin? Preferably a bar or entertainment area which serves drinks and food. Bars with TVs are everywhere so I'm not looking for that kind of venue. It is also a big plus if the have the sound on when the matches are playing.
