Jesus! If the test costs that much how much is are the vaccinations going to cost I wonder? ImageImage

Hey that's their *discounted* price!!

As presumably because it's coupled with another procedure

If you walk in and want just a standalone test it's 6300 baht!!

In Bkk Hospital I reckon the vaccine will be 10,000 baht... per shot!

Nb that's just my gut feeling based on 8 years of being a 'customer'

And you know what, I think the majority of expats will pay that even for 50% efficacy... just my opinion

Might also depend upon how scary things look when it's available

Yeah 10, 000 sounds about right. Probably higher if you want to get it early. It will likely decline in price as availability normalises.

That link is quite confusing in that it seems to contradict government advice and uses different terminology. Hua Hin Municipal is an all embracing term - is there any person specifically?

Assuming it is correct, how is it being policed?

I read it that now, even coming from LOW risk provinces, you now need to self quarantine for 14 days(whereas before you didn't) .....

Maybe I misread it

Government advice is to follow the TAT news page, and even then, such a directive usually has an accompanying Thai order.

Doesn't do anything for me. It's from a freebie rag and provides no verifiable source for this announcement.

When I drove to HH the other day, there was one road check as you entered Petchuburi province on route 4, which was unmanned and another on the by-pass, just after the turn off to Cha am and Hua Hin, again, unmanned. Not even anyone snoozing by the side of the road.

As far as I know, hotel pools are closed (or should be) together with spa, fitness centre, sauna, steam rooms, etc. Certainly the case at mine in Petchburi, but near border with Prachuap.
Centara Grand in Hua Hin(PKK) open yesterday....

Can they be open in PKK but not Phetchaburi I wonder?

You're right thecolonel. Hotel pools in Prachuap can stay open I was told this morning. Not only does this make for an uneven playing field, business wise, but more seriously....why?
U-turn from the Petchburi Governor yesterday means pools in the province can now open:

Is this the notice, or is there another one?

Yes, I realised that, but the only notice I could find dated yesterday was the notice from Prachuap. I was wondering if there had been a mix-up. I've still seen nothing yet referring to Petchaburi.
