What are you trying to say....

Anyway, yes - a superb win for the "Sushi Swallowers" - the Scotland game on Wednesday is going to be an interesting one!!

Yesterday's match between The "Falklander Wannabes" and the "Blackness" was quite something as well. The South Americans almost pulled off the second shock of the weekend, Unfortunately those from the The Land of The Long White Cloud prevailed as usual....

God's Own were absolutely cr@p yesterday and I hold little hope of us doing anything this tournament based on that display.....  Yet more bl**dy injuries with Cory Allen out, and big worries over Williams, James and Lee.... what a great start!! Thankfully we got the bonus point try though!!

Now I know why my shares in the Chinese Rocketry Firework Industry have dipped severely.

That bloody Welshman is sitting at home watching his favourite game on the telly, instead of blowing up the countryside - absolute disgrace...........

What's this, has the the thread changed to "Have a Pop at Pharvey".... A pint on Beelzibub's Buggers vs The World's Greats on the cards?

If the great ones in red win, both yourself and BB need to serve me my (free) beers on my next visit to the Fishing Lodge - and BB repeating his son's dance from my last visit!!

I just got around to watching the SAF vs Japan replay. Perhaps a case of all the stars were in proper alignment for the Japanese on the day, but they did play some good ball and certainly put their hearts into it. I guess the proof if a one off or not will be against Scotland coming up. Good luck to them. :thumb: Pete

I know there are not many Rugby league fans on here but if you need something good to watch between RWC matches, there is some tremendous football going on right now in the Australian NRL finals.

Last night it was the Brisbane Broncos beating the Sydney Roosters 31-12 to secure a spot in the grand final. The score doesn't really reflect the excitement of the match.

Today is the North Queensland Cowboys against the Melbourne Storm for the second spot in the finals. I'm going for the Cowboys who have the best halfback, goal kicker and play maker IMO in the NRL in Jonathan Thurston. A finals between The Broncos and Cowboys is my pick, even though the Broncos beat them a few weeks back.

Setanta TRUE channel 669 has a replay of the Broncos/Roosters at 1030 hours this morning, and the Cowboys/Storm live at 1600 hours. Pete

Well, the big day has arrived, Leicester v Arsenal, no just joking, England v Wales. Personally I like to watch these big matches of either code all alone, no beer, no snacks, no small talk, just me in front of the telly catching every moment. In my part of the world I have to watch on Sky Sports Italy, luckily they have an English commentary option.

Nerves are already shot - still 11 hrs to go... Biggest match in years!!  :sun:

The bookies have England as favorites, personally I think there's very little between the sides - but home advantage will be a huge factor. Have to say the Welsh front-row concerns be a bit, as does scrum-half. HOWEVER, we're pretty decent elsewhere!! A big factor in this game could well be at center(s).

No questioning his defense or offloading skills, BUT there still has to be question marks over "Slammin' Sam" - will certainly be interesting to see him against Roberts.....

And there are a couple of big lads everywhere it seems: -

Average Height: England 6' 3" - Wales 6' 3"
Average Weight: England 17st 9lb - Wales 18st 8lb

Anyway, enough of this seriousness....

God's Own to put a huge dent in Beelzibub's Boys' Cup aspirations and take the match by 7!! :neener: :butt: :neener:

BRING IT ON !!!!!

Yn dod ar Cymru !!!!!

The trouble for the Red Rose will be the front row. They have been poor recently and Marler in particular needs to avoid the penalty count, which otherwise could well decide this match. It will be close - I have a hope that Sam will play a 'blinder'

May the best team win

I'm expecting the Daffodils to be super-pumped up for this game - indeed there's been a lot of talk about 'smashing'. My guess is that is why Burgess and Farrell are in - good men to have around you in a scrap, just as long as they don't do anything daft and get sent off!

We need a big game from everyone, but especially the forwards.

I was reading about how devastated Ford was to be left out, but it has to be horses for courses. He may well be back for the next game - and if Farrell doesn't perform, Ford could be on at half time!

This has all the makings of a real classic, so let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a damp squib.
This is the way
