Yes some of my post was a bit OTT. Yes many farang make Thailand home. But what I trying to emphasise was that some farang seem to spend a lot of time whinging about their new home and how it can be improved by following the example of the old homeland. I guess it is a matter of degree and perception.

I am appalled by these statistics. Perhaps the schools could take a lead and ensure all the children are educated about the risks. I know cycling proficiency classes are very popular in UK schools. If they can make learning fun then it will have more success

quotes such as this are total Bolx maybe the whinging farrangs care about human life and how easy it can be taken away in the event of a RTA, not necessarily wanting to change things to the same as the "HOMELAND" but maybe making a little better and safer for all, the driving standards and enforcement of laws are seemingly low priority , but the actual laws in place are not so different to English & Euro road traffic laws they just need to be enforced all the time not just near the end of the month

Very precious Dr Dave. As if the RTA problems are only with the Thais and the way road rules are enforced. My observations are also relevant to other threads one reads here from time to time.
