Flights to/from Hua Hin Airport & other domestic locations
Re: Domestic Flights from Hua Hin Airport
It was also reported that the proposed Phuket flights are to be charter flights, as opposed to regular scheduled flights.
Re: Domestic Flights from Hua Hin Airport
Thank you, I'd missed that. So does that mean they'd be part of package tours including a short break in Hua Hin, and not for Joe Public?

Re: Domestic Flights from Hua Hin Airport
I used to use the HH to UT flight.
The last time I flew to UT, they cancelled the service, leaving me to make my own way back to HH.

Re: Domestic Flights from Hua Hin Airport
I've just booked a flight Hua Hin to Chiang Mai, and almost made a costly error. I'd read on here that some booking links weren't working, and somebody had posted an alternative link, which I couldn't find.
Everytime I accessed the Air Asia page, I would select Hua Hin as my originating airport, but it would not allow me to enter a destination airport. I did several Google enquiries and tried the top of the options returned - Airpaz.com. Everything took on the appearance of booking with Air Asia, and I concluded this must have been the other link somebody had posted. It even accepted my Air Asia logon
Everything was going well, until I got to payment - a 714฿ processing fee was added. A true WTF moment. I'd chosen 7-11 to pat, and was expecting maybe a 30฿ fee.
So it was back to the beginning. This time I chose both Credit and Debit Card options, without giving details. Same thing - a 714฿ processing fee was added. I wasn't having this, so finished the booking, using the 7-11 option, and printed the PaySlip. I wasn't happy.
I went back to the Air Asia page. After a lot of perseverance, I eventually got it to accept my destination. All of the screens looked the same, but this time, when I got to payment, no processing fee was added (OK, 30฿ for using 7-11). So an important lesson learned, which I am sharing to hopefully save somebody else from being ripped off. Airpaz was convincing, and the page whilst appearing the same, did actually work better than the actual Air Asia page.

The AirAsia app works well (at least it did the last time I used it 4 years ago).
Wouldn't go near any third-party sites, especially those that pay to be at the top of Google's now highly questionable search results.

What about other search engine results, or do all of them operate the same way?

Question probably better in the Search Engine thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=40791handdrummer wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 7:26 am What about other search engine results, or do all of them operate the same way?

Re: Domestic Flights from Hua Hin Airport
Did you try to book Hua Hin to Chiang Mai 4 years ago? It is entering Hua Hin into the originating airport that seems to disable the destination field. Even now, I don't know how I got it to accept anything into the field.
I agree, but I remembered somebody posting an alternative link to get the Hua Hin to Chiang Mai flights to appear. Whether or not they posted the same link that I found, I don't know, but 714฿ processing fee for a cheap domestic flight seemed very excessive. I'm grateful I chose 7-11 counter service than using a Credit or Debit Card. They only displayed the processing charge at the last minute, and it could have been easily missed.
If Airpaz was not the alternative, it would be useful if somebody could post that alternative link again, because I couldn't find it on this site yesterday.

Just tried it and it works fine so suspect it is another BB computer issue.
Cheap flight too, might go myself!

LOL, I've just tried it too, but everything came back already completed after yesterday's efforts. I could clear cookies, history, etc. but can't be bothered as going out now.
Not just a BB computer problem, read back through the thread, several others have experienced the same problems.

We’re you using a VPN at the time - that sometimes throws a spanner in the works?Big Boy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 9:39 am LOL, I've just tried it too, but everything came back already completed after yesterday's efforts. I could clear cookies, history, etc. but can't be bothered as going out now.

I had the VPN on, hence the prices in SGD.
