I have to say I think the event was a great success. Thanks Terry for your hospitality and the hard work of your staff handling what I suppose was an unusually large crowd. They did a great job under the stressful circumstances. :thumb:

It was good to chat with old friends like Sarge, Lomu, and Buksi and great to meet new ones like JW, Wanderlust, Chaspul, Pitsch, and families.

I highly recommend these events if they are organized again in the future! :thumb:
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Must agree with HHFarang, great afternoon Terry, thanks very much for your hospitality.
The neighbors who came with us were all so full of praise, Jan an avid golf junkie kept saying he now prefers fishing!
Cheers
Chas

Yes, thanks Terry for a great day. Your staff were superb.
I'll own up to having to take an afternoon siesta at one of your salas, so missed out on the fun between 2-4pm. I think it's best to do so before the photos are published. And before anyone gets the wrong idea, I'd only had one bottle of beer at that stage!! Did get a second wind later though

Attached below are some piccies of yesterdays meet at the Lodge.

Image

Hard to say actual numbers as people drifted in from midday and some diehards (No names) drifted out at around 10.30pm. I would say around 18 board members + many friends and family would be a good estimate. Around 40 or so in total. 8)

Image

The beer, wine and food took a good ‘bashing’ and Mrs. T says we covered more than 60 meals / dishes – so someone was eating!

Image

Fishing or drinking? - not sure here

Not a lot of fishing but that was to be expected – just some good chat – putting names to faces and meeting up with some old friends. :)

Image

Myself, Mrs.T and our staff would like to say thanks HHAD for allowing us to host the event, which has left us all in the festive spirit and the fridge empty - temporarily. :thumb:

Thanks also to those who have sent me private messages of thanks - much appreciated.
