Pretty certain that's the GT badge not the Lotus, but I will bow gracefully if proved wrong :thumb:

The 'F' word is OK, it is a Ford Cortina Mk1 GT (so a 1500 engine)

Bristolian has mentioned the 'L' word, but why is it wrong ?

DM points to the snot-green stripe, it too is misleading.

No, what I had hoped for (and Bristolian was getting there) was for someone to say 'MK1 Lotus Cortina' but it can't be a Lotus Cortina for one (or rather two) very good reasons, excluding the GT badge.

The Lotus Cortina was only available as a 2 door and your photo was a 4 door!!

Correct - It's a MK1 GT painted to look like a Lotus but you can't just paint over two extra doors.

It has 4 doors, should only have two.

Some of the prices being asked for other cars are hair raising!
1 million baht for a good condition MGA is not a bad price and compares well with what you would need to pay in the UK.
The MGA is a bargain when you consider the Mini Coopers are £40,000 unless I read it wrong, who would pay that for a Mini.
