I've been hearing about Hua Hin City starting their own TV Channel for a while. I've just realised it's already here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXt9o7 ... PX-Hy1RHkQ

Events are moving faster than my time allows me to write about but here's an update on some of the things that have been happening.
New players continue to arrive with more to come. All the new players look very good and from what I have seen so far will certainly improve the team dramatically. Sato will leave this week and possibly some of the other existing old squad players may also go.
I watched a practice match last Friday and saw probably the best football played that I have seen all season. Michael Byrne looks a class act despite being nowhere near match fit. All the other new players look a class above those that we already had.
If anyone had doubts about any of the players we have let go thats all I can say is don't, the guys we have brought in so far are much better.
The team are off to Vietnam at the end of the week for training and three friendly games. No friendly games will be played in Thailand prior to the recommencement of the season. No suitable opposition could be found who would play us.
Can't wait for the 24th to come and see these guys in action. I think we are in for a fantastic second half of the season. Howay Hua Hin!

Sato going  . Shame, I thought he was good. Sounds as if we're doing now, what was promised in January.

Any more info on the Vietnam tour? I've got a few spare Dong that need to be spent.

I too feel a bit sorry for Sato but all I can say is I think the new players are better. He has been a victim of his injury. From what he told me the decision was made because the new coach had not seen him play and he wanted to bring in other new foreigners who he had already earmarked.

As for Vietnam, I only know a little. I think they or going on Saturday or Sunday to Ho Chi Minh for a training camp and three games and will return for the FA Cup game.

The New Stadium - 17 Weeks On

No video last Monday due to the Bank Holiday.

The site looks very busy this week, with a lorry obscuring my view partially.

The building of the main stand continues to progress slowly. The highlight this week are the white pillars growing out of the stand. Looking at the drawings, it is my belief that they will support the inadequate roof to protect VIP supporters. Even though the roof is minute, it looks as though the pillars will obscure the view of the privileged few.

Looking at the site today after 17 weeks, I've concluded that we are unlikely to move in until next season.

See there is confirmation now that Sato is indeed away and has joined Phrae United in the northern section. May well be seeing him again in the Champions League!

It is a shame to see him go, never quite got going here due to his injury though, and I can understand the coach's reasoning for letting him go, especially given the foreign quota.

Certainly wish him all the best as he seems a nice guy.

I found this announcement on the FB page : " Announcement for fc hhct : 13 July meet and greet sailer girl and warrix shop at huahin school 8am to 4 pm "

This could be a opportunity to find big size shirts, but could someone please tell me at which school this event will take place ?
Thanks in advance !

Your best bet would be to reply on the FB page to ask them. If you ask in English, they will try to reply in English.

So you did - sorry, I missed that.

I asked Mrs BB, but she says it only says Hua Hin School. If it's any help, Hua Hin High School is on the left as you go along the Pala-U Road, but I'd doubt it would be there unless there's a larger event going on at the same time.

Never mind the big size shirts, it could be an opportunity to bag one of the sailor girls! :naughty:

I'm pretty sure that's the correct location, indeed it is part of this 'Sport for the People' event that's running this week I believe.
