Jealous of all his FB friends talking about their new 'Crocs', Ashmeed decided to go out out and get his own.

The wife and kids will be delighted when I bring this home, it'll be the most food we've had for ages, just got to figure out if the helmet and duffle coat are edible.

Caption Competition Trials - Big Boy Feedback
Firstly, please accept my apologies for posting this update mid-competition.
As most of you will be aware, collation of judges papers, marking the answer sheets etc was becoming very time consuming every Friday. As a result, we have run 2 trials alternatively for about 9 weeks, in search of an easier method, without devaluing the competition, which many enjoy. The trials (evaluation in Blue)
Guest Judge
4 forum members volunteered to be guest judges, and judged for a week each.
This method worked extremely well. There was only one glitch, when I was using the wrong e-mail address.
Assistance from dtaai-maai
A little more labour intensive for 2 people run on alternate weeks.
This also worked very well, and I was extremely grateful for DM's help. Unfortunately, this part of the trial ran at a very bad time for the UK judges, and clashed with their Christmas party, and seasonal leave. A couple of times there wasn't enough to bother DM with.
The Future
I propose to carry on with the trial format i.e. alternate weekly between Guest Judges and the UK judges. DM has already confirmed he is happy to carry on helping for now. I will also need a bank of guest judges to work with. Hopefully, the original 4 will continue, and maybe we can get a few more volunteers. Could all volunteers please advise by PM (including the original 4 confirming they are prepared to continue), rather than disrupt the competition further.
We will use the UK judges this week, and then alternate with Guest judges.
Hopefully, this is acceptable to everybody - please advise by PM if you think I've got anything wrong. I will advise next week's Guest Judge with this week's results.
