All too easy to compare prices with European prices
Pointless exercise though. Try a curry at the very up market Indian off Oxford Street near Marble Arch (name forgotten) and then try the Asian Tandoori in Uxbridge Road Southall, West London. Similar quality of food but a ten fold difference in the bill with no exaggeration.
Back on topic there are a few around the market area of Hua Hin but you need to get to know the operating times of the stalls. You literally have to sniff them out. The Nan bread seems to be a problem outside of the two restaurants already mentioned but you can get a nice Southern fried Roti at the Islamic restaurant in the road that runs alongside the railway towards the station and a new one opened in the same road the other died of Chom Sin Road.
BTW there used to be a 3rd Indian in the road next to All Nations Guest house but may have gone now.

There's a nice little curry house in Cha-am, it's on soi Longbeach.
You can go over the soi between 2 pm and 5 pm and drink at the Nordic bar for 60 baht per litre, order your preferential curry and have it delivered to the table.
Onlyme, only trying to help.
Isn't there a 'happening' going on there this Thursday onlyme?
My goodness, gracious me , not the cha am bridage again, trying to push their own business. I know you guys well enough, you have your own web site now, so please do this kind of things there, will you, please.

Please clarify? If someone talks about a restaurant or bar in Cha Am it's pushing business but if you talk about restaurants / bars in Hua hin it's information? Double standards. Are you suggesting Cha Am people should use a Cha Am forum? Very strange to promote a rival forum, very strange indeed! I never expected that kind of talk from you Bamboo Grove.
It appears to me this HHAD forum has become a clique to support your own little business's or interests.
I can assure you no one was trying to promote anything - stick this forum up your asses!
You should know me better than that, Jockey. Tell me, my friend, has there or has there not been a bit of flaming recently by Cha Amers in this web site. You can easily prove me wrong, if there hasn´t. Only Us trying to help.

Give me a link where I´ve supported my business, Jock, please.

All I want to say is there are many instances of double standards and paranoia about Cha Am on this site that would put the present Thai regime to shame! I'm not allowed to even mention the name of the pub of the pool team I play for! (Isn't your id Bamboo Grove the name of a pub / guest house?)
If I have been accused of flaming then its not up to me to prove I haven't been 'flaming'- I would like to know the evidence that supports your claim.
I don't want to fall out with anyone over this because I consider this to be petty and silly.
PS - I have no knowledge of the owners of a pub that sells jugs of beer in Cha Am or a restaurant that sells curries!
I too have seen this strange reaction towards Cha Am dwellers.
Why is this?
I've made a few comments, but they've always been in jest. I think the subject matter sometimes leaves themselves wide open to such a reaction eg 4 seperate postings about a supermarket opening, and being able to buy bacon - it was a bit over the top.
None of my postings have been made with any malice, although I'm not sure about the responses such as Stay in the UK; but I take such a response with a pinch of salt, and put it down to a Sense of Humour Failure.

I am sure it will be, but to be on the safe side bring your passport. There is rumors of a border crossing point being set up on Petchakasem just north of the airport.

Anybody know a take away number for a good indian curry
Don't want to go out tonight but got this urge for a good indian curry
RICHARD OF LOXLEY
It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
Take 5's the only decent Indian at the moment but I'm not sure if they do delivery or take-away so I can't help there sorry.
