^^Don't be so quick to criticise, I hear there is strong interest in one or two players from Lion City Sailors...
This is the way

Four for Harry at home today. Please don't go...

Arsenal get the season going with a win over arch rivals Man City in the Community Shield. A tad fortunate with the deflected equaliser, but definitely showed City the way how to take penalties!!
Re: Premier League 2023-24
That one's gotta sting caller. Five days away from kick off and your new striker out injured for, possibly, a few months. Nkunku's been getting rave reviews during preseason too.

A very sad day for Tottenham fans. Very sad indeed. Bye Harry.

Re: Premier League 2023-24
I can't take this.
He'd agreed terms with Bayern before the usual Levy back & forth. But now he's witnessed Ange's style of play, maybe his eyes are widening. Think he enjoyed whacking in 4 goals, quadrupling our shots/chances in a game and seeing our B team boss possession over Barcelona, albeit to a loss in the end due to 3 Eric Dier mistakes (who's been replaced finally).
Ange ball is peaking everyone's interest at the moment. Not expecting miracles but...
We're not going to be boring that's for damn sure.

Seriously, WTF? Going/staying, looking for a big increase in salary?
Whatever, seems incredible to me.....

I reckon Kane is having 2nd thoughts (even though terms have been agreed), scoring 4 goals the other night and seeing the football Spurs are playing at present, still might be tugging at his heart strings
In relation to Chelsea, if we finish in the top 6 this year, it will be an achievement from where we were last year
Saw some promising things in the pre season comps, so lets hope it continues.
Shame that one of our new strikers (Nkunku) is out injured for some time, as the partnership he was forming with Jackson was looking very promising.
Anyway looking forward to another exciting season

Re: Premier League 2023-24
The Beebs football commentators have given their opinions on who will finish top and the overall predicted ranking, using all 26 BBC predictions is as follows,
1. Man City 2. Arsenal 3. Man Utd 4. Liverpool 5. Newcastle 6. Chelsea 7. Aston Villa.
Let’s see if they get it right (I’m sure they won’t)!’

Well according to The Times, the deal is done and Kane is off, having agreed a 4-year deal with Bayern.

The Beeb are quoting “ Kane 'to have Bayern medical today'
Harry Kane has been given permission to travel to Germany to complete a medical with Bayern Munich today, according to reports.
It is suggested the England and Spurs captain is likely to sign a four-year deal.”
Re: Premier League 2023-24
Guess who scored the first goal of the season in under 4 minutes?
Highly predictable.

Very debatable. I see the credit is being given to Haaland, but the press forgets the Premier League starts 1 week late. I think the credit should go to Southampton's Adam Armstrong.

Re: Premier League 2023-24
Oh come on BB, you must realise that as far as the press is concerned, football is the EPL!! It’s also why we have a forum about the Premier League + the lower leagues get very little mention (other than Plymouth Argyle)
