All I can say is why bother with the poll then?

We did try to find somewhere that ticked most of the boxes, but because of the time of the year, and the fact that we couldn't guarantee numbers, nobody was prepared to give up on high season business for an afternoon on the off chance HHF Forum could provide a gathering who would keep the kitchens and bar facilities busy.

Any other time of the year, it wouldn't have been a problem.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 0 Hull City

Points 51; Position 21
Consolidated - Championship Next Season

That's fair enough. Will try to make it, the family, especially the young would have preferred the beach like a few years back. C'est la vie

For those who have not yet been to Hua Hin Fishing Lodge............some details

As Lev has already mentioned

Parking - loads of space and secure :D

For directions of how to find us, there's plenty of info here http://www.huahinfishing.com/home

Seating - our restaurant can seat 30 comfortably - we've accommodated 50 before

Sound system - our classic Audiolab 8000 Amplifier can mix it with the best of them - through an equally ancient pair off Wharfdales - either nice and low or rattling the windows in Chumpon - your choice. Backed up with more than 350 music videos (From 60s to present day) that we can project onto the big screen as it gets darker - complete with some disco lights for the energetic.

Adequate toilet facilities - what to say - bogs is bogs :butt:

Entertainment for kids - nice big playground with climbing frame, swings, rope ladder etc. Plenty of ice cream, soft drinks and snacks available

Food/Bev that wont break the bank :thumb:

For full details of the food and drink options plus photos of the Lodge check out http://www.huahinfishing.com/facilities

Oh yes - Fishing - available for those who want it but not compulsory :|

So - roll up during the afternoon for a chat or rock up for a party - the choice is yours

Either way, 10 years of sound advice, information, slagging each other off has got to be worth celebrating.

For my part - I'll make sure that my staff are around to assist and I'll try and ensure we have a good time.

Everyone who has been to the Hua Hin Fishing Lodge will want to go there again. It's so relaxing and comfortable with lovely breeze. Those who haven't been there yet, don't miss this chance. How I wish , i could join you good folks. And this comes from a life long Arsenal supporter.

Thank you for those nice words BG
I would love to toast an Arsenal supporter (Preferably well done both sides with a flame thrower  ). However we will just have to raise a glass or ten to 'Absent Finns'

On a more serious note - Best wishes to you and yours from me and mine, for the whole of the festive season.

1) I have walked on the Great Wall of China
2) I have stood in Red Square at -28 degrees C
3) I have half climbed the Pyramids and watched the sunrise over Cairo
But despite having a copy of the video, you will NEVER see me dance to Gangnam Style.
A chorus or two from 'Who the f**k is Alice' is more MY style - (And yes we have THAT video 8) )

Hello Jimmy,

perhaps two votes per member would have been more conclusive.

I voted for the beach party. I would have voted for the beach and the lodge.

On second thoughts however the lodge is bound to be more convenient in many aspects.
So I am quite happy with the outcome.

Take care!

Warm regards,
