Afternoon prices, now you're talking Bella. Off soon to bar in Soi Sarawak, Johhnie Walker Black & Coke 50B, Smirnoff (and I mean Smirnoff) & Orange 50B. Near where I live San Migs and Singha's in afternoon 40 or 45B depending on bar.

jeeze guys,you've lost the plot.

crazy88
The guy that owns Harley Bar is trying to sell it,along with his wifes car and his Pick Up. Do him a favour and tell him that Aircon is best in a sealed room, he must be wasting 20k a month in electric bill's. I have never felt Air Con in this bar,it has an open front so would not work. Probably just another case of mis-information.

So you guys compare the Beach Road and Walking Street in Pattaya where you can get a San Miguel for 50 baht or a Draft Chang in some GoGo Bars on Walking Street for yes 50 baht all day and upto 7pm to having a beer for the same price on Soi 80 or 94. Thats like comparing The Empire State Building (NY) and the Twin Towers (KL) to the Traffic Police Booths at all the traffic lights in Hua Hin.

Go to Soi 80 anytime during the afternoon and I doubt you will see anyone in any of the bars, unless a planned event 3 is a crowd if your lucky on the odd night, premiership footie will bring out the expats that do not have UBC, they willbuy a Chang each half and then go home.

I was going to say that the next time I am sipping a beer for 50baht in a Go Go Bar watching G Stringed beauty's I will think of you guys sipping your solitary beer on your own for the same price on Soi 80 and 94, but if thats your lot good luck.

If price is important, try a Thai restaurant under a tree on the outshirts of Hua Hin, 100 baht buys 2 large Chang and a couple of chiken drum stick's.

Say what you want guy's, I wont be back on this post, different standards I am sorry to say.

Ex pats of Hua Hin, they know how to party.

Thank God.

Its you who keeps referring to Pattaya, nobody else cares less.

If people wanted walking street they wouldn't be in Hua Hin.
Its called choice.

Downtown Pattaya is a shithole full of Tossers anyway so go and enjoy yourself.

Yes, it really does take a certain type of person to think that people that don't like or go to Pattaya are losers! :?

Bella,

You must remember that most of us have been coming to Thailand for a long time, and I would guess that we've done the Go-Go bit, and have outgrown it.

Most of us don't need semi-naked women dancing around a pole to enjoy ourselves. If I'm going to a party, I like to be with friends - not a meat-market. I suppose our definition of partying is different.

I am very happy with the Hua Hin scene, and you are happy with Pattaya - long may your happiness last. Nobody here is criticising your likes or dislikes. Please don't criticise ours.

Well said BB

My point (made many times on many forums) is we all have a choice and to REMAKE a point I've made before. 'Thailand has it all everywhere if you know where to go looking' :thumb:
