I haven't compared schedules of the other 10 teams in a possible position to go down, but the below doesn't look too bad to me. I predict they stay up regardless of what the pundits say. :D I think I've found a home, I'm comfortable with them for reasons so far inexplicable. :alien: Pete

West Brom V Fulham
Fulham V Chelsea
Cardiff V Fulham
Fulham V Newcastle
Man City V Fulham
Fulham V Everton
Aston Villa V Fulham
Fulham V Norwich
Tottenham V Fulham
Fulham V Hull
Stoke V Fulham
Fulham V Crystal Palace

Pete, aside from the warm glow I have at your current connection with Fulham, given that the average number of points required to avoid relegation is 39, I'd be interested to hear which 6 games you think they will win, especially as they've only won 6 out of 26 games so far. The lowest number of points to stay in the Premiership has been 34-35, which would still mean winning 5...
Your new 'home' may well be in the Championship next season!

I've always had a soft spot for Fulham and wish them well, but I certainly wouldn't put any money on them being in the top flight next year.

Yes, the goal difference is disturbing to say the least. There's at least 5 matches in there though that are "doable" IMO. I really don't know about this new owner, and I really don't know how serious Al-Fayed was for the past several years. Seems as if it simply could have been a hobby instead of a competitive mentality?

I thought the reappearance of Dempsey would inspire them, but as usually happens, he probably didn't fit into a changed system and his stay is too short. His decision to leave at the end of last season is still up for questions also I guess. Maybe he saw the handwriting on the wall?

Berbatov is gone, maybe a good thing?, but no idea how much $$$ they have in their coffers, or if they're willing to spend.

The new manager....nice guys finish last. They really should recruit someone else next season but if they don't, it would speak volumes about the new owner and what he wants to achieve.

Big Boy may be wise beyond his weight. He continues with the Plymouth crest on his IKTS page (I think). If it's the Championship for Fulham, so be it. :( :D Pete

Big Boy supports Argyle because he always has, we don`t change our allegiance from one season to the next, unless you are a glory hunter, which as a Fulham supporter, you clearly are not. Good luck to them anyway, mainly true football supporters.

3 managers in one season is not good!

Be interesting to see how the players respond?

Here's some background and info on Shahid Khan. He now owns two under performing teams and I guess time will tell what he can do.

Jose Mourinho describes Arsene Wenger as 'a specialist in failure'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho responds to Arsene Wenger's claim that he has a "fear" of failure in the Premier League.

Mourinho retorts that he does not "fear anything", before going on to describe the Gunners boss as a "specialist in failure".

The Blues boss added if he had gone eight years without winning a trophy at Chelsea, he would "leave London" and not come back.
Reporter: Arsene's said that comments from managers about not being in the title race come out of the fear of failure.

Mourinho: He's a specialist in failure. I'm not. If he's right and I'm afraid to fail, it's because I don't fail many times. He's a specialist ... after 8 years without a trophy. If I do that with Chelsea, I leave London and don't come back.

Can't stand the guy, but that made me chuckle.

He's Welsh, Pete, nobody understands him.
Apparently he's promised to end his career as a 'pundit' if Man City beat Barcelona.

COME ON YOU CITEH!

Like many, I'm puzzled as to why the beeb think he merit's airspace. Maybe they think he has 'yoof' appeal?

I guess the same can be said about messers Hansen and Lawrence on BBC - the only guy I can think of who IMO normally makes some relevant comments is Danny Murphy. ITV is no better, they role out the likes of Gordon Strachen and Andy Townsend.
