I got the bivalent Pfizer vaccine last month when I was back in the UK.

I was staying with my parents who are 96 and 97 years old and I don't care what anyone else says, if the vaccine reduced my chances of getting Covid and/or potentially passing it on to my cliniically vulnerable parents by even 10% (and according to the studies it's probably higher than that) I reckon it was still worth doing.

I agree. My wife has some very significant underlying conditions, and IMHO was very fortunate to survive Covid. She has her booster every 6 months (7 jabs now) and whilst I'm there with her, I believe it would be stupid not to join her.

We also received the bivalent Pfizer vaccine at HHH a couple of months ago.

Having said the above, I still believe it is personal choice (we have our Flu vaccines as well), and it doesn't bother me either way if anybody else has or does not have the vaccine. It is right for us, and we will continue to vaccinate as long as we can.

For me, comments such as
people are still injecting themselves with this crap
are little more than crap themselves, written by Trolls trying to start another pissing contest. Do what you want to do, and let others do the same.

Instead of debating the for and against of the vaccine, could someone answer "londongeorge" 's question which was "Does anyone know where I can go to get a booster, or has heard that H.H.H. will start giving them again?".
I would also like to know.

I too would like to know. I've checked the usual sources, and it looks as though the freebies have finished, which is understandable based on the Government's financial situation. I'm guessing jabs will become available at the usual places at an appropriate cost, similar to the Flu jab.

As for people answering londongeorge, as freebies were available at HHH 25 days ago, I very much doubt the situation has arisen yet. I'm hoping londongeorge will provide an update for all of us. It is 4 months before I will need to search, by which time I hope it will have become common knowledge.

HHH had a FB post a while ago saying the stock of COVID-19 vaccine they had was finished so couldn't provide any on 10th, 17th and 24th Nov. Next availability will be 1 Dec 8.30 - 11.30am.

That sounds good, but I still fear the end of the freebies may be nigh, although we've had a pretty good run. The last 2 boosters we've had, we were the only customers, so maybe supplies have been reduced accordingly.

It moved from there ages ago. It is a little building at the back of the blue building these days. You actually wonder if its part of the hospital.
