He is usually seen waiting near the halfway line and standing offside.

He can be a pain in the arse, but he can also make things happen up front, and that's what we need at the moment to convert possession and chances into goals. We're still paying him, so we might as well see if he's worth using occasionally - he also has a point to prove.
I hate to say I told you so...
All we have to do now is find a way to have him play like that every week - maybe hold his family to hostage? Take away his Lamborghini? Threaten to bring back AVB?
Cracking game, by the way. Lots of missed chances by both sides and perhaps an element of fortune, but boy, did we need that!
A vast improvement by the spuds on recent performances. Southampton are on a bit of a bad run and gave the last two goals away, the 1st being excellent, but it was a good win, aided by a shift in tactics and a bit of self-belief - and no AVB, which has to be a plus. Be interesting to see how the next few games go?
Keeping fingers crossed for our game against the arse!
Yes,you did tell me so d-m !
Adebayor can play but only seems to do it one game in ten,so I hope Sherwood has a Plan B from now to mid-February !
Wenger has never beaten Mourinho in 9 matches, drawing 4 and I think it will be the same tonight ending 2-2.....John Terry sent off and Torres equalising in the 5th minute of injury time !
I think that result would mean Liverpool are top for Christmas ? Time for Baa Baa to open a bottle of champagne to celebrate with his Christmas Dinner !
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,
I used to suck fat cigars but now I suck Polo mints.
Goodness me, what a melodramatic headline. He was, of course, referring to AVB.
Here's what he actually said about the current situation:
"I thank the players and the staff," said the former Arsenal striker. "They have given me my confidence back and they said 'we know how good you are'. I didn't want to let them or the fans that believe in me down.
Oh well, take back all I said. A solid performance from the blue boys with Lamps unlucky when hitting the bar. I thought he was superb throughout.
We had a few counter attacks, apart from Lamps hitting the bar, it turned out Willian was usually in possession when this happened and either his shot or final ball let us down. Must do better.
Arsenal didn't pose so much of a threat until the final 10 minutes or so, when they could have scored, oh, and they probably should have had a penalty in the 1st half.
Awful conditions to play in, a driving, swirling wind and heavy rain throughout, so it wasn't pretty.
And Tim Sherwood has been appointed head Spud until the end of next season. Interesting.
And the BBC should be ashamed of employing Robbie Savage as a pundit. Guy's a prick.
Edit: Quote of the night - brilliant!
Jose Mourinho: "Mikel's was a hard tackle, an aggressive one. Football is for men - or women with a fantastic attitude."
