Ad Blocker was definitely the problem. Just need to remember how I fixed it last time.

I've been looking, but it looks as though the opting out of certain URLs has become a subscription service on Adblock. Rherefore, I'll just have to remember to swith the extension off whenever I want to watch ITV.

Hi :thumb:

I switched to Nord three or four months ago and for the first few weeks it was great!! :D

Unfortunately, more often than not we have a problem when trying to watch ITV or BBC. Sometimes you get one and not the other and vice versa. :banghead:

I noticed in a previous posts about turning off "Adblock" or switching off the "extension"? Excuse my ignorance but where and how do I do that?

Hi Dannie,

Only watch (or try to) on my laptop. I used to use Google Chrome, but it was so bad, I started using Microsoft Edge. Edge did initially appear to be better, but ..........

I find that Firefox works fairly consistently and I use Opera as a backup. Sounds as though you and I are of similar technical ability - I’m not sure what I did a month or two ago when I was having problems but since then it’s been working fine - maybe one of the more techie guys will give clearer advice!!

I just tried, set Nord to UK and opened iPlayer in Brave browser and it worked first time (I don't have any third-party adblockers running, Brave does it by default).

I've been struggling with ITV a bit, and am gradually getting to understand how to sort the problem. It is down to the initial Nord server connection. If the connection takes more than a second, stop it, and try a different server. It is the servers with a blink of an eye connection times that give the best service. Even though it says, "United Kingdom Fastest Server," there are some snail speed servers out there. Choose a 'blink of an eye' server, and you will get a much better service.
