I don’t know how widespread it was, but this morning between 8&9 there was rumbling suggesting we might get some long/awaited rain - needed to go to Makro Cha Am for food and whilst out there was quite heavy rain. We were back home in less than an hour and whilst there had been some rain, less than what we had experienced just 7-8 km further north. Looks like there could be more coming during the week

The niece said it was raining in Cha Am

Same here between Hua Hin and Cha Am, nice appreciated rain and wind, cooling the place down, wonderful

According to ThaiMet/Weather and Climate etc.....
And provided Thai Met's website is counting correctly
Then Hua Hin had 100% less rain in April than average.
That's because we should have had 80mm and we got zero!
We're due to get 220mm this month and so far we've had none(up until today that is).
Well apparently there was a small shower yesterday morning but that doesn't seem to have registered up at Soi 51 weather station
