USA Eagles to take on New Zealand All Blacks in Chicago
"CHICAGO, Ill. – The reigning IRB Rugby World Cup Champion New Zealand All Blacks will play their first match in the United States since 1980 Saturday, Nov. 1, at Soldier Field in Chicago against the Men’s Eagles, USA Rugby and New Zealand Rugby announced at a press conference Tuesday.
Following the sold-out match between the Eagles, the United States’ National Senior Men’s rugby union team, and the New Zealand Maori All Blacks at PPL Park in Philadelphia, Pa., last November, USA Rugby and New Zealand Rugby Official Sponsor American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) will again unite the two nations as title sponsor of the game.
NBC will provide national broadcast coverage for the 2:30 P.M. CT kickoff."
Best of luck to the Eagles - I'm sure they'll put on a passionate display. Rugby in the States has come a long way since previous tours by The Blackness, unfortunately the stats below do tell a story......

I'll have to check if it will be televised here on one of the Thai sports channels. FOX has most coverage but I think I've seen them pick up an NBC event from time to time. The Bears (NFL) team don't play that week, and are away the week after so it's good timing. I would think the stadium may be full. It could be nippy with wind coming in off Lake Michigan. Wouldn't be surprised if temps in single digits C. Pete

Looking at reports, it's a sold out game - 61,000 odd capacity. NZ are used to playing in some cr@ppy conditions, so I can't see low temps favoring the US unfortunately....
As for today's game..... just look at the timeline

It wasn't snowing hard enough or cold enough I guess.
^ OUCH!! Unfortunately, the Blackness are not known for their compassion... Don't take it to heart Pete, there are a fair few of us who's teams have been on the end of a thumping by these guys.
There is a prediction league for the "Autumn Internationals" available on Superbru, but I'd not bothered starting one for HHF as there's several on the go at the moment with Wendyball and F1. If however there are interested parties, the league kicks off in earnest with Round 2 beginning next week (absolutely no offence to the US Eagles or Japan...).
Anybody interested, shout and I'll start a League. Some good games coming up!!

Just reading about the build-up to today's England v. NZ game and planning my weekend sports schedule, only to find that 365 aren't showing the test match until Tuesday...
Now that 3BB have magically improved my download speed, streaming shouldn't be a problem (fingers crossed), so what's the best site to watch the game live here in HH?
^ I'm getting it off the channel page on the TV. It says 1330 Thai time but no idea if correct. I'll try to check at the time to see if on.
EDIT: Yes, something must be wrong. It does show (L) for live at 1330 here, but impossible as starts at 1430 hours at Twickenham, England. Sorry.....something is off with the schedule TRUE is showing.

Cricfree.tv is back online, so (if you really want to watch 2nd division stuff... ): -
kicking the ball away when in possession is fatal against NZ, especially when the kicks are cr@p.
Also I`ve never seen a referee stop the clock for blatant time wasting as NZ were doing at the end.
Only Northern Hemisphere team to beat the southerners today. Great display by the Bhoys!
Ireland 29-15 South Africa
Joe Schmidt’s Ireland recorded a shock 29-15 victory over South Africa at the Aviva Stadium, with an awesome display against the world’s No 2 ranked team.

The Kiwis first try wasNOT a try, replay clearly show that.
The 2nd half was not pretty, the All-Bs just keep running at you, running at you--Just wears the other side out.
