Phenomena (Creepers) (1985)

Jennifer Connelly is sent to an exclusive girl's school where the cruelty of her schoolmates leads her to discover that she can telepathically communicate with all insects. There is a crazed killer on the loose. She befriends a crippled entomologist who is looked after by a chimp. She follows a fly to the killer's lair, whereupon things start to get REALLY WEIRD. One of Argento's most underrated films with a great soundtrack.
