Flights to/from Hua Hin Airport

I could find return flights to Chiang Mai without too much difficulty. See example below.

Peculiar that it's more expensive to go to Chiang Mai than to return and if you don't want to turn around and come back, you have to stay for a week. I

find this country tiresome and if it weren't for having a Thai wife I'd be gone

It’s obviously down to supply and demand - at the moment the demand is low so they only run flights twice a week - you can surely understand that they aren’t going to fly near-empty planes every day!!

✈ A reminder that the Air Asia Hua Hin - Chiang Mai flights have now resumed.

The twice weekly flights operate each Friday and Sunday.

Chiang Mai > Hua Hin, 09:25 – 10:45 Friday, Sunday
Hua Hin> Chiang Mai, 11:15 – 12:35 Friday, Sunday

That's true. It seems that flying from HH to CM on Fri. and returning Wed. would be a better schedule. Unless someone had an urgent business, up one day and down the next doesn't make much sense. Oh, oh, I used the sense word. Sorry.

It’s actually up on Friday and return on Sunday so that two days or the following Friday making it a week - obviously won’t suit everyone but that’s the choice!!

When I go to the Air Asia website there aren't any dates listed for flying from HH to Chiang Mai and no matter what dates I enter, no flights are listed.

I think if you scroll back through this thread, there are 2 links. One that works, and one that doesn't. I agree it's crazy to have one that doesn't work, but TIT

It still works (for me at least). I just tried it with some random dates for next month and got this.

The site doesn't show any dates after Mar. 27 when they are supposedly flying 3 times a week.
I'll check back later.
BTW, that is a different site than I found on the internet.

The schedule for flights between Hua Hin and Chiang Mai has been updated.

Flights were due to operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from March 29.

However, AirAsia has confirmed flights will now operate every Tuesday and Saturday throughout April.

The flight times remain the same.

Chiang Mai > Hua Hin ( 11:25-12:45 )
