^ DRS = "Drag Reduction System". The driver can actually make adjustments to reduce drag/change aerodynamics of the car..



Congrats also to Captain Pete for the Yellow Cap this weekend........

When the following driver is within 1 second of the car in front at a specific part of the track (the 'DRS detection zone'), he is able to open a flap in his rear wing on the subsequent straight (the 'DRS activation zone') which has the effect of reducing drag and therefore increasing top speeds. ie it's an overtaking aid.
