I parked up at the training ground for an hour yesterday (waiting for something else). I thought this is fortunate, I can watch the team train while I'm waiting.

OK, it was only an hour, but I've seen more action watching paint dry. The reserve goalie and his mate were getting a bit of a workmate, but the rest were just mooching around the pitch having a chat. I got the impression they were being shown their positions for a set piece free kick ........... but for an hour?

They finished up by practicing free kicks around the wall. This was quite interesting as most shots were on target, but again most of the team were idle, with only the (first choice) goalie, and 2 shot takers moving. There used to be more action on my subutteo pitch.

I hope to see a lot more action when I watch them play Samut Sakhon this afternoon.

Hua Hin City 1 - 1 Samut Sakhon

Another enjoyable match played in a carnival atmosphere. Hua Hin certainly had the better of the first half, and a pretty even second half.

Quite a lot of information on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Huahincityfc.Official?fref=ts . Unfortunately most of it is in Thai. However, there are hundreds of matchday photos. Yours truly appears in quite a few in my England and Green Army tops.

bsdk1960 do you feature in any?

I've made an interesting observation. Google Translate translates Hua Hin City (หัวหินซิตี้) as Manchester City :?

They would probably get more following if they had one of these

BBC Sport's Richard Conway meets Lee Tuck, an English footballer playing for Bangkok FC.

Yorkshireman Tuck left the United Kingdom for Thailand in 2010 and was the leading goalscorer in the country's second division last season.

The former non-league striker, one of the few Englishmen playing abroad, says he has "never looked back" since moving - and admits the culture and lifestyle are "unbelievable".

Before you suggest............this Yorkshire-man's knees are too old and crocked

Hua Hin's centre-forward, Greg Cusack (2 goals last week) is not 100% Thai either. I'm not even sure if he is Thai at all. They also have several negro (apologies if that term is not PC, but it is not meant as a racist comment) players, who I also assume are not Thai.
