Why don't these people just wait for the drugs tests to come in! Remember that poor Black girl a while ago, everyone shouting she must be a male.
Her reputation was ripped to shreds by various people and the press, then it turns out that genetically she is female.

They can't take back the pain they cause, when they engage thier mouths before their brains.

Agree whit you.
It should be that your innocent until there's proofs of false play.
Just like the legal systems in many countries ,but unfortunately the media and self-appointed
experts are so eager to promote themselves that they don't give a f..k about if people is innocent
or not, they just want to be heard.

A great game to watch and great performance by the GB womens footie team in beating Brazil 1-0 in front of over 70,000 fans at Wemberley - they could even afford to miss a penalty! They top their group having won all 3 games. Great stuff!! :D

They need to beat Canada in Coventry on Saturday to secure a semi-final place.

2 Golds for Great Britain.....well done to Bradley Wiggins in the cycling and the two lady rowers !
And in the footie,Team GB beat Uruguay 1-0 to set up a quarter final clash against South Korea.
Daniel Sturridge scored the only goal of the match.

I wonder if that Scottish loser Andy Murray will morph into a British winner tomorrow.

Watching Korea v GB, Asian football is catching us up.

Technically sound.

Presume it's coaching and funding why Thailand haven't got a decent side. They're all obviously athletic and football fans.

Well, a great day and night for the UK, 6 golds + and 3 from the athletics this evening! :D

And then there was the penalties against the Koreans . But its becoming a travesty and as soon as I saw Sturridge step up, I knew..... But if Ramsey had converted the 2nd penalty in the 90 minutes..... so it was all down to the Welsh in any case!

Have to mention Mr. Phelps, all rather special and the one event to date, where the Brits have disappointed.

I have to say that whole thing seems to be going very well, I don't have a TV here but most evenings I find myself in a bar where they show the highlights on a French channel and all I seem to see is Brits winning medals in just about every sport imaginable.
It leaves me wondering why you lot are so obsessed with a sport in which we haven't won anything since 1966!

Probably because I'm working class, didn't do Rowing, Dressage and Archery at my school.

And WE have won everything there is to win numerous times since 1966 which is something I couldn't care less about.

The Olympics has been a great spectacle but I honestly get more pleasure seeing an African Wigan or Blackpool player scuff a goal past a Spanish Man United Keeper than I do us winning gold.

In the seventies I did fencing and canoeing at a comprehensive school in Nottingham.

Touche.

Suppose Football is so popular because all you need is a ball. You can have a kick about with 2 people, you can hit it against a wall on your own.

It would still end in a penalty shootout!

See, even an inverted snob like you uses a fencing term
Try telling the thousands of rowing enthusiasts on the South coast that theirs is an elitist sport.

I used to sail as a teenager as well and it didn't cost me anything. I used to cycle to Nottingham sailing club on a Sunday morning and managed to scrounge a position crewing for a guy in a National 14.
