Sack the bugger and give the job to Mick McCarthy :duck:

Not a bad idea at this moment in time

Mick McCarthy is a very good manager.

Bad luck, old chap ! I think Wengers tenure at Arsenal is coming to an end....if Sunderland knock them out of the FA Cup this weekend it could be sooner rather than later. :|

It's been simmering for a while & the seeds of discontent are well & truly sown now, even amongst the most ardent AW disciples. :|
He may well survive an FA cup knockout, but failure to make the top 4 & there would definately be a call for his head.

Could be a sad end for a great manager.
& it will be because of his own stubborn & arrogant actions :|

I agree!
Managers like him are always overlooked for the bigger jobs, maybe because they aren't as fashionable as some :?
It would be interesting to see how someone like Mourinho would manage Wolves on their budget

Last night's match was the worst I can recall. I can't find any positives about it.

I was told that Spurs have first dibs on him when `arry leaves for the England job.
Arsene Wenger has taken Arsenal as far as he can, his refusal to accept that his is not always the right way has cost the club dearly in recent years. A change is needed but most new blood would need a guarantee of money being available for established players.
Anyway, scoring 5 against a Milan side is not unknown is it.

No that`s not true, we Arsenal fans have come on here and expressed our disappointment. And another thing, I find it ironic that a Spuds fan makes such a comment when the WHL boo-boys were making their feelings known a while back.
Everything cyclical, maybe it`s your turn now to be top dogs in London but I don`t think it will take 40-odd years for Arsenal to bounce back. Make the most of it while you can.

I think we put so much effort into the first hour, we ran out of steam :(

Great performance & to be honest i would have been happy to just to beat them before kick off.

In the bigger picture, it's probably for the best we went out.
We don't have a big enough squad to compete for the CL & a top 4 place. :|

Couldn't watch the match here but followed it from BBC live text. Have to say, it would have felt really bad had we been 4-0 or 5-0 ahead and then Milan would have scrored one in the dying seconds.
