I know there have been a few break-ins in Hua Hin recently Dave, but do you really think this barbed wire is necessary?

First time for a long time that we've had a tie for first place. Sorry Siani, but you didn't get it on the countback. This week's top 5:

5th Frank Hovis with "So this is where you go when you say you are popping down the Mecca every Thursday night !" (18 Points)

4th Vital Spark with "I told you they wouldn't let you in the shopping centre if you had a hoodie. Now get changed and go and get me my fags!" (24 Points)

3rd Nereus with "I know your favorite camels name is Nadiyya, but did you have to call out HER name at THAT moment?" (25 Points)

1st= Siani with "For Christ's sake keep down!! My wife has just pulled up" (35 Points)

1st place goes to dtaai-maai with "I told you I wanted all of the tiles to look like this one!" (35 Points)

Thank you very much to all who participated. Better luck next time to those who didn't win.
dtaai-maai you now have until 23:59 on 11 Aug 13 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 16 Aug 13.

When I was back in the UK, if there was a tie, I'd simply go back to the judges and get them to choose a winner. Now that I'm based in LOS, that is no longer practical (time differences, distance etc).

Every Thursday evening, when I prepare the judging papers to go to the UK, I complete one myself - normally just for fun. This form does not feature in the normal judging. Obviously, this is completed long before I get the papers back from the UK. This is where the 'Big Boy's favourite' comes from. In the event of a tie, the person who finished highest on my score list gets it. This week you were 4th on my list, and DM was 3rd.

This competition is just for fun, and I try to keep the judging/scoring as fair as possible. I certainly have nothing to gain with one person winning over another. I hope you understand the above explanation, and realise that I show no bias against anybody (we've even had members who had received a suspension finishing first).

Funny that DM is seen at the ATM shortly after the competition closes each week. Takes him about 5 minutes as well I've been told.

I know you feel strongly about the BNP John, but don't you think they're a little over the top with their garden fencing?

See Gretta, I told you your husband DM went to the ATM each day at noon. Be careful, I think he's getting cash for a threesome with you and that car show girl.
