* 597,287 people infected (+18,912)
* 391,920 discharged from hospital (+10,750)
* 200,510 in hospital
* 4,857 deaths (+178)
Imported cases - 10
Domestic cases - 13,342
Proactive case finding in communities - 4,750
Cases found in correctional facilities - 810
Number of people who received vaccines:
1st dose: + 414,946
2nd dose: + 65,209
Total: 17,491,946
4,691 (+96) patients are in critical condition, with 1,032 (+20) of them on ventilators.

I thought home isolation was already here. As far as I was aware, it was announced by the Ministry of Public Health on July 26.

The figure for cases in hospital is wrong. Should be 205,002 as in the graphic.

......"It is also reported that the meeting resolved to expand the area of maximum and strict control, or the dark red area from 13 provinces to 29 provinces, namely Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Tak, Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Narathiwat, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachin Buri, Pattani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phetchaburi, Phetchabun, Yala, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lop Buri, Samut Songkhram"......

I think this new ruling is very harsh on Pkk and I'm sure it will have a big impact on restaurants and hotels here. But it will put paid to that minority that still visited from Bkk.

The wife just said the news reported Prachuap Khiri Khan is now under curfew and no one allowed out after 9:00 pm. I'm sure there are exceptions but she didn't hear them.
