Having so far, good outcomes from buying from Lazada, Im interested in the " Lazada Experts " on here
take on this item advertised
i realise the seller has NO Sellers Ratings, so is this a BIG RED FLAG, or could he be a new seller ?
appreciate your comments.
This shop has no ratings. Sells quite high end electronics. 52 items in the catalogue, all entered between 29 Nov and 3 Dec. No reviews of any item. No stock counts. No accessories.

VincentD, obviously it's your choice. Whilst it's a pain in the butt, and seems OTT, I've done it several times and it works very well.
They are making it very difficult to get a 326฿ refund. It must have taken me 15 minutes to get past the robots, and when I did, I wished I hadn't. The woman I was talking to was as thick as the proverbial short plank.
I explain that I have a refund due to me, which should come through my Lazada Wallet. When I try to activate my Lazada Wallet, I get this.

Her first response is, "Activate your wallet."
I explain that was the purpose of my call - as a foreigner, I can not activate my wallet. This conversation would have made a great TV show comic sketch.
Well you can imagine, the emoji above was doing a very good impression of me. 45 minutes later, she told me to get off the chat, and somebody (brighter than her I hope) will contact me by e-mail within 2 days.
I am sure this story is to be continued.............................................
Well, it only took 9 days, but the cash eventually arrived back in my bank today, so that is me officially finished with Lazada. Mrs BB has been registered, and all subsequent orders have been made in her name.

It seems where the supplier opts to use Kerry as the delivery agent, Hua Hin becomes a huge black hole into which your goods disappear for a few days.
I first started hearing this from a friend who was tracking their goods to Hua Hin. She was then having to wait for up to a week for delivery. She tried self pick-up, but the goods were already with the delivery courier, and she was told impossible.
I've now got the same situation with a couple of packages. I've tracked them to Hua Hin where they arrived at 04:44 on the 24th. The page said they would be delivered on the 24th. When the 25th arrived, the message returned to arrived on 24th, and will be delivered sometime. These were Christmas presents, so whatever happens now, it's too late.
I ordered something else on 24th, which was sent by a different courier - it arrived on the 25th. So it's clearly not Lazada, it's the choice of courier.

Its not just HH, we have problems with Kerry down here, anything ordered takes at least a week to get delivered when using that courier. We've now resorted to picking stuff up from the Kerry office (which is full of undelivered packages) ourselves, it is a staff shortage apparently.

Interesting. I ordered something from OfficeMate on Lazada on 20 Dec. All the Lazada details showed was that goods were packed waiting for pickup, and some useless tracking code (SOF_nnn...).
OfficeMate hadn't posted a tracking number.
Then suddenly last Friday, 23rd, Kerry phoned to make the delivery.
Lazada still shows the item packed and waiting for pick up.
As a related side note, The wife uses Kerry daily to send products all over the country. Severe problems with staff shortages in many locations for the past 2 months. They won't accept any deliveries to Phuket at all for the past month.
Flash is experiencing the same thing but not as severe as their volume is much less than Kerry.

Our packages have just arrived. The driver actually apoligised for the late deliveries, but said his vehicle had broken down, and he'd just got it back. The excuse sounds feasible, until I relate to my friend's and buksida's experiences.

Yes many delivery companies have huge shortage of staff. Some branch have only 40 % of staff. It seems the same in spa of hotels and some restaurants. As in europe, we see a huge move of staff to online jobs and freelance tasks.
Just been looking back at the last 30 days orders. Believe me, we get a lot of deliveries. Over the last month agents have been Kerry (the majority), Lex and Flash. Products were, food, pharmaceuticals, Electronics, Toys, clothing. Apart from a couple of things which we knew in advance were going to take time (i.e. weeks rather than days), they've all been delivered in under 48 hours. Kerry is by far the most popular and never had a problem.
When there has been a delivery problem, it's been with the supplier, not the delivery agent.
NB. Maybe because we have so many deliveries, we are on a 'priority list'. Only guessing but would make some sense.
I doubt you get that many more than us. Kerry used to be brilliant, but they've certainly gone downhill in recent weeks. Normally, I wouldn't have been bothered too much, but Christmas Day is a sort of unmissable deadline
Anyway, this little chap didn't seem to mind his pressie turning up a day late . Actually, he got in 6 hours ago, and hasn't moved yet .

We also get a lot of deliveries, especially Kerry since options are limited down here. My last order on Dec. 20 still hasn't arrived (the Thai postal service would have been faster.) Even the supplier apologized about Kerry having dispatched the item a day after the order so it begs the question - why the hell do they still use them?

From what has been posted above, it seems that Kerry are not the only ones experiencing delivery issues so possibly it’s due to a lack of suitable alternatives?
I don't get it. With time on my hands, I've looked back at all the orders delivered by Kerry over the last 6 months. In every case, Kerry has delivered within 48 hours after they've picked up the product. Delays have always been with the supplier. Of course, Kerry can only deliver once they get the product. I can't find a single case where Kerry have held onto the package for several days.
Are we sure that the delay has been down to Kerry and not the supplier?
