Are you sure about that,Pete ?
With Gerrard missing and Baa Baa in the crowd it has all the makings of a dour 0-0 scoreline ! :)
Maybe better to look at the match at Old Trafford with Rooney, possibly, making his return for United.
But what do I know after Chelsea 0 Sunderland 3 last week
Be interesting to see how Chelsea perform this weekend after last week.
If they lose at Birmingham then maybe Romans Empire is starting to crumble !
I'm still thinking, still have some time. :D :? Pete

Good advice from both Zindane and BB. What to do.....? With BaaBaa there we may see a homicide if something stupid happens. If the late Saturday news a 11 shows Hodgson running for his life with a crazed man chasing him, that's our BaaBaa. At the moment, I'm still true to my initial pick. :thumb: Pete

That's not far from the truth, I don't get to Anfield often as it's £40 even for a catagory B match but my last game was 0-0 and we were in good form at the time.

We should beat West Ham at Anfield Pete, the other players tend to up their game when Gerrards out, I think all to often the other players look for Gerrard even when there's a better pass on, he almost intimidates some of the younger/lesser players.

The majority of the support are ready to make their feelings known I'm afraid, there's already chants of "Dalglish, Dalglish" and "he's only loan" referring to Benitez.

Liverpool fans famously stick with their manager and team through anything but nobody sees Hodgson as being Liverpool class through either his comments or decisions.

The fans saw Benitez and everyone before him as "one of us" but not Hodgson.

What are the Spuds and even Arsenal opinions on this Damien Comolli fella that Liverpool have employed?

He seems to have found a few good players at both clubs but a few flops as well.

I normally watch a stream!

No mate, £41 :cuss:

I was a bit surprised at who they class as A,B & C though!

Barclays Premier League Ticket Prices for 2010/11 Season.

Category A games: Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur

Category B games: Aston Villa, Blackburn :? , Bolton Wanderers :? , Newcastle United and West Ham United

Category C games: Birmingham City, Blackpool, Fulham, Stoke City, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers
fulham

I can understand Newcastle and WestHam being B as they are big clubs, despite their lack of success but Blackburn and Bolton are both awful sides, I think they should be relegated to C and Brummies and Fulham should be in there. (Although they are still a bit shit  )

Not much more but now you know why I rarely go.

I think a once or twice a year pilgrimage is enough, I think a season ticket is £500 but apparently there's a 7 year waiting list.

Stand Category A Category B Category C
Main Stand, Centenary Stand, Paddock Enclosure & Anfield Road £45.00 £41.00 £39.00
Over 65 £34.50 £31.00 £29.50
Disabled and Visually Impaired (Paddock, Anfield Road) £34.00 £31.00 £29.50
Combined Adult Child Anfield Road (1Adult/1Child) £67.50 £61.50 £58.50
Kop Grandstand £43.00 £39.00 £37.00
Over 65 £32.50 £29.50 £28.00

That's a lot of money. It would cost a father and 2 kids in excess of £80 per match. Add a programme plus a pie at half time and you're not going to have any change from £100. Excluding cup matches, that's £1,900 per season.

What do European games get classed as? Group A?

The Champions League games were A priced but like gold dust to get hold of, (My brother was "friendly" with Anfields head of securitys Daughter so I've had them in the past) Anfields famous atmosphere isn't what it was until a big Euro night.

Europa league matches are £18 though, not bad, but there has been a mini boycott concerning how Cup tickets (FA.Euro.Carling) are dished out.

As you say though, It's a piss take, the "Premier League" is taking the game away from it's working class roots.

I wouldn't like to think what Spuds, Arse and Chelski pay.

A fella I work with is a Man City season ticket holder, his Missus went with him last week, a pie and a tea each cost him £12.
