According to Thai Met

Hua Hin has had zero rainfall in December.....

4 days and 5 nights to go...

Can't say I'm missing it!

We’ll a number of people commented that they had rain the other day, so there’s obviously some rain in Hua Hin, just maybe not where the weather station is?

But were those people in Hua Hin itself, I got the impression they were North of HH?

Anyways whatever, as you say the weather station only reads what it gets, not the city as a whole.

Also noticed its not quite as cool as the last few weeks in the morning/evening. I'm not out tonight but if I was I wouldn't be wearing jeans like I did a few times last 2 weeks or so.

According to ThaiMet.....

Hua Hin got zero rain in the month of December!

Mind you, that's only a shortfall of 8mm(or 7 depending on who you believe)

For January 12mm is the expected average monthly rainfall total

It must be coming west to east as over here it's pissing down hard at 0030 hours. Doesn't seem that it will last long though.

Wow, that's amazing that the Soi 112 micro climatic desert got rain!

Btw.. nothing in Soi 94 area that evening

According to ThaiMet, Hua Hin (or to be the precise the weather station near Soi 51) has had nothing but a few mms since a decent downpour on 23 Nov(41mm that day). Just a few drops of rain in that last week of November and that's all.

Nothing in the whole of December and nothing in January to date.

So your garden can count itself lucky!Image

Not Soi 94, but I live a stones throw from Soi 94 and we had the shower for a few minutes.

It’s definitely not cold, I’d say it’s bordering between warm and hot - temperature now where I am is 28c but feels like 31, with todays high predicted to be 30, so presumably a feels like 33.

Thank you for replying. Maybe I paid too much attention to the weather forecast https://www.tmd.go.th/en/province.php?id=71 and I guess the 18C I see here is early morning minimum temperature.
