^ didn't watch either game not particularly interested. But you both got the 3 points needed in the end however it happened. :D

Tomorrow’s game between Arsenal and Newcastle is looking very interesting - after being Champion contenders for much of the season, if Arsenal lose tomorrow they drop to third and Newcastle jump to second - almost unthinkable even a few weeks ago - Squeaky Bum Time!!

Crikey, just looking at the table. If arse lost their last two games and the others around them didn't... they could drop out of the Champion's League spots, never mind 2nd.

I, for one, would be beside myself if such a travesty of justice happened.

No such luck unfortunately  .

Some outstanding saves from Raya in the first half yesterday. One from Pope too to be fair but Newcastle would have been disappointed not to at least get a point.

Really does. Currently 1 point between 3rd and 7th but city have a game in hand. Gonna be one of those where, over the 90 minutes, they'll be multiple changes of who's in and who's out of Champions League. Good for the neutral.

Well the prems coming to a close today. Forest Vs Chelsea is the one I'll be watching. Winner gets Champions League. Anything but a win for Forest is no good. Chelsea might need a win too, depending on the Villa and Newcastle results. Should be a cracker!

What drama! The Forest Chelsea has been shite but what's at stake still makes it very watchable. City ahead. United turning up when it doesn't matter... Maguire turning into prime Messi in the box 🤣.

And Villas keeper Martinez just sent off, first red in his career.

The referee may have just cost Villa champions league football as we head into the dying stages! What a shambles. If Villa don't get a goal now...

Crikey, PGMOL are on for one hell of a hard time.

The goal rightly stands, Villa put ten men (edit... 9 men) behind the ball and hope to see it out, think they only needed the draw no, with the Newcastle result.

I'd be absolutely fking fuming right now as a Villa fan.

To have a referee decide a team's (next) season like that, tens of millions of pounds, it's just horrific. Gobsmacked at the early whistle when it obviously wasn't clear if it was a foul or not. Hold the whistle for 2-3 seconds and let VAR try to do the job properly.

Football aside, I’ve just watched the MOTD highlights and have to say that at the end of the games, the farewell tribute for Gary Lineker (a guy I’ve never been very fond of) was top notch and worth watching.
