AND it continues with 44 mm early afternoon and then MM13 so far since 5pm a grand total of 82 mm in 12 hours!!!

Certainly a record in my 15 years

According to ThaiMet....

41.3mm yesterday (whenever yesterday starts and finishes?? ) in Hua Hin

Not disagreeing your figures, apart from anything you live in different area to Weather station

It will be a wet November for sure

Very windy today

I cannot be more clear from 7.30am yesterday until 7.30 pm yesterday , that is only 12 hours and the total rainfall measured by myself was 82mm in the Black Mountain area.

You sound like I'm doubting you. I'm not, not for one second.

I'm merely reporting ThaiMet's figures for the weather station near Soi 51/Phetkasem Rd for yesterday 23rd November (but I'm not sure when they start/finish their 24 period).

It's perfectly feasible to me that you had twice the rainfall that the weather station had, its so localised here it's bizarre!

And I'd be first to say that ThaiMet's figures baffle me quite often versus what I see/hear myself.

Please continue to submit your data, I find it most interesting and very useful

Thank you

PET, which side of the road did you measure that....
thecolonel, a healthy 94 mm where we are, 2 km inland from Racer Marina Pranburi.

Only light rain today, however the temperature seems to have dropped a few degrees and it feels “pleasantly” cool, almost to the point where I might need to put more than a singlet on!!

If you usually only wear a singlet, hopefully you have high walls, at least waist high!!

I went a fair way up 102 and back on a Moto taxi this morning in my usual swim shorts & polo shirt

Christ I couldn't wait for it to end!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ps about 5/6 years ago in February (of all months) some weather came from China and it was much much colder than this for about 4/5 days.

I remember sitting outside the old Panama bar in jeans shirt and warm fleece drinking cold beer, then going back to room to get warm. The girls that were brave enough to sit outside bars all wore pashminas

Anyone remember that time?

One of the rare occasions to use the heater in the car. When I came here, a car with a heater was almost unheard of.

I can remember a number of brief cold spells, normally in December/January that usually only last a few days and then it’s back to normal. When I tell people back in the UK it was down to 18°c last night (not last night but in the past) they sound incredulous that I’m complaining it’s cold, although we’re used to high 20’s and low 30’s most of the time, so 18 does seem very cold!!
