Windy's satellite feed is still good. The below link shows the storm headed our way.

Yep, but as mentioned it only shows the accurate current status. I'll try the apps as I'd like to know the rain predictions for the weekend.

Yes, you can search for any town, but they don't have every Thai village, or HHTel's soi. Image
To be fair to Windy I could type in golf courses that were pretty remote and not in a town and it would recognise them...

I don't think Google app or Weather channel do that

Weather Channel for your spot shows 60-60-80% Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Partly sunny on Friday. HH shows 50-80-80 and 40 on Friday.

I use 'windows' for the weather.

I look out of one window and see blue sky and sunshine. I then look out the opposite window and I see black clouds in the distance. That tells me that the good weather is about to give way to rain. I have windows in all sides of the house both upstairs and downstairs. Through them I can see what's coming and what's going.

That's accurate enough to tell me whether to use the car or if it's okay on the bike.

It doesn't tell me what will happen tomorrow but neither do so called weather forecasts. They get it wrong all the time.

What version of 'Windows' are you currently running? Image

I hear they need 'updating' every few months with a mop & bucket! Image

We're having the wettest day I've seen in Hua Hin for a while, and no sign of stopping anytime soon. So Windy looks as accurate as Michael Fish.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

^^ Well so far so right. It's been raining steadily (not heavily) for about an hour now.
