NFL on ESPN

Breaking: In the interest of public safety, the NFL announced the Jan. 13 Monday Night Football Wild Card game between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings has been moved from Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ and will be played that same night at 8 PM ET.

All of the above was expected except for the Washington and Los Angeles games. Los Angeles was visibly inspired because of the fire situation there. They weren't going home a loser! :bow:

Well, the first half of the weekend games are over and the #6 seed, Washington, knocks off the #1 seed, Detroit. Detroit played terribly today unfortunately.

The other game was won by Kansas City as expected.

Goff turned into the Goff of old like he was with LA. He lost his confidence, started throwing interceptions, lost more confidence, then the whole team started making mistakes. By far the worst played game Detroit has had this season.

Some teams simply can't handle the pressure of playoff football and crash, or at least don't play up to their ability and regular season record. This was all new for Detroit as it's been a very long time since they were at this level.

They'll regroup and undoubtedly do well next season. I expect to see them in the playoffs again next season.

I agree Pete, too far, too fast. Hopefully next year.

Part #2 of the weekend below.

The Eagles barely beat the Rams with the Rams on the verge of scoring as time ran out. Game played in a blizzard.

The Bills edges the Ravens in a game played on a frozen field at -8 C and in light snow. The Bills simply handled the weather better.

Buffalo Bills at the Kansas City Chiefs

Washington Commanders at the Philadelphia Eagles

The winners will meet in the Superbowl

Washington is the cinderella team in these playoffs and will be fun seeing how far they can go?
