Indeed, prices are insane in Thailand for these sorts of things. A $200 card in the U.S. is upwards of 15,000 baht here if they even have them in stock ... and 3-4-year-old used ones cost more now here than they did when new.
I know absolutely nothing about graphics cards but just seen this for sale on Bahtsold.
Yep - insane prices, that is a 5-year-old card. I've rolled the dice on the used GTX 1060 6GB from Laz for a fraction of that price ... though I could be in for a dead lump of circuitry.
On the same day JIB phones up saying they'll send another card to replace the RX 570 I sent back under warranty almost a year ago! So I may well have two of them!

Yep, I'd actually written it off since it was so long ago that I returned it. But they have honored warranties on most PC hardware so usually try to buy from their official store on Laz when I can.
Chip shortage and crypto miners have caused the GPU prices to skyrocket - and of course, Thailand is more expensive than everywhere else!

Just to wrap this saga up, there was no response from the seller on Laz, and they hadn't packed or shipped the item after 4 days so I canceled the order (thank God for Cod). Probably another scammer as BB pointed out - though it is a concern that Lazada allows them to operate with impunity.
This week, JIB sent a replacement RX 6500 XT card more than a YEAR after I sent the faulty one back under warranty so all's well that ends well.

Looks like I've been locked out of my Laz account. The email verification doesn't arrive and there is no other method for recovery. Has anyone else seen this?
Luckily I have another account for use on the phone so will have to use that.

Yes, I had the same problem and impossible to solve it.
When I phoned them they told me to open an another account as they could not find a solution , so I reluctantly did.
A few months later, as by magic, I got access again to my first account ( ).
So now I use one or the other of the two accounts depending on my mood
I get this a lot. I think the answer is that you click on the first blue text (all Thai) in the main body of the e mail.
Works for me. Or sign in using Faceschmuck.

I have found online ordering in Thailand to be infuriating.
Most of the products come from China and it's hit or miss.
The latest example:
I ordered replacement batteries for RF headphones 30 days ago. They are coming from Shenzhen, China.
It takes 2 rs. & 39 to fly to Bangkok.
10 hrs. & 13 mins. to drive.
Pedaling at 4.8 kph takes 21 days.
You could conceivably walk it in 30 days.
The order form that tells me it's been shipped gives me a tracking number that doesn't go anywhere.
The rep that I deal with is really nice and helpful but that doesn't compensate for the long delivery time. I.E., if it's delivered.
By the way, this is going way off the subject of buying from Lazada, and I will move it to it's own thread shortly. Apologies for clogging up the Lazada thread.
Just received some perfume ordered for the wife and of the three bottles ordered only one was okay. One had broken and the other leaked. The outer box was in good condition so I guess that it was the temperature that caused the other bottles to overpressure and leak/break. I messaged the seller straight away, added a photo and they will send replacement bottles to arrive by Monday.
I order a lot of stuff via Lazada and although there are the occasional hiccups this is more like the service I am accustomed to.
I'm even having more fun with LAZADA as I have used a Cc for all my purchases until two months ago when they suddenly stopped approving my CC. CC company can see no activity and Lazada claims it is a problem and they were trying to solve it. Now they're asking me for all kinds of private information on the CC so they can verify that it is mine. I refuse to give them some of it but every once and a while a CC purchase goes through their system then they reject it on the next order. Have solved the problem by paying cash on delivery which is much more hassle for them.
I rarely use a CC on items from Lazada, but when I do (high value items) it's always gone through without a hiccup. Lazada even remind me when my card is about to expire!!
Royalists call to ban Lazada after insensitive advertisement
Royalist groups are handing in an open letter to the e-commerce giant, Lazada Thailand, on Friday, urging the company to show responsibility for funding an online advertisement that was deemed to be offensive to the royal family and people with disabilities.
“The management team of Lazada said someone else did it and they acted like they did not know anything about it. They cannot just deny responsibility like this,” the Thailand Help Centre for Cyberbullying Victims wrote in an announcement on Thursday, calling for a protest at Lazada’s office in Bangkok.
The announcement was made by nine royalist groups, including the Centre of People to Protect the Monarchy, the Vocational Students Group to Protect the Monarchy, and Thailand Help Centre for Cyberbullying Victims.
