Mrs BB has a Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, which is way too clever for her. A friend bought it for use while in Thailand, and gave it to her when he went home.

She's been managing quite well with it until today. I don't know what happened, but she kindly passed it to me with many things not working, or malfunctioning. I've managed to get get all but one thing back to normal.

The one thing that is really annoying me is every time you touch the screen, a blue line is tracking where your finger has been, or if you tap the screen, a blue cross appears.

Can somebody please tell me how to stop this happening?

Don't know that actual model BB but on the S3 it's something like... 'SYSTEM SETTINGS' ==> 'DEVELOPER OPTIONS' ==> scroll down to 'INPUT' ==> then uncheck 'SHOW TOUCHES' and 'SHOW POINTER LOCATION'.

Good ==> luck :duck:

As SJ said, it's in developer options, it's locked on alot of phones.

There's nothing in there that the average user needs to be ticked, hence "developer" options.

Wow :shock: Thanks guys. I'd seen Developer Options, and moved on quickly - sounded as though I'd be likely to do some serious damage. I'll give it a go when Mrs BB wakes up.

Are the micro sims available at the 7 Elevens and similar or is it a case of chopping up a normal sim?

I don't mind doing that but it's nice to have a sim ready when you land.

A question for BaaBaa. or Super Joe (or anybody who knows the answer).

My friend has been posting timelapse photography on facebook taken with his iPhone. Is my Galaxy SII capable of this please? If so, how?

I've looked around, and can't find a similar feature. It's unusual for iPhone technology to be more advanced than Samsung.

Mrs B dropped her phone in water and now its dead. She has put the sim into the Samsung tablet and wants to use that instead but the version of Android it has on it does not have Thai as a language option. Any idea how to install Thai language to it?

Do you mean the base operating system doesn't have Thai language? Or the keyboard?

If it's the keyboard try Multiling Keyboard available on the Android store. If there's no Thai locale available in system settings, try searching for "More Locale".

The base OS has no Thai, I installed the Overcome version as it was the only way of upgrading to Android 4 on that particular tablet.
