All day long I see farangs on motorcycles with no helmet, & no mask.

Hang on, what? Have folk been wearing masks driving their motorbikes? Seems like overkill that.

There's a lot of people (Thai) wearing masks on putt-putt motorbikes before Covid, and there will be after Covid, simply to cut down breathing the noxious car/diesel fumes from the other vehicles near them. I doubt they're even thinking about Covid in their circumstances.

That said (as ridiculous as it may be) if all the locals were doing this, I would, reluctantly, follow suit. Stoopid, yes. Respectful, yes.

I wear a mask everywhere apart from in my home, garden, car and when cycling where I live and will continue to do so until I feel safe not doing so. Currently, I think I know as many people with covid, as without, in both HH and Bkk (where I am right now). What others do is up to them.

It was not a Supreme court ruling. The ruling came from a federal district court in Florida and from a judge who received an "unqualified" rating from the American Bar Association prior to her conformation process. She has been on the federal bench a little over a year now.

You're right. I stand corrected. Not sure what I read but I came away thinking it was from the State Supreme Court. I was wrong.

As for the rest of Thailand, the ministry said people could expect the outdoor mask mandate to be dropped around mid-June. However, just two days ago, a spokesperson for Thailand’s PM Prayut Chan-o-cha’s said “the government has no plan to allow people to remove face masks because it is necessary to prevent the spread of Covid-19.”

Of the new cases and deaths, I would like to know how many of them were wearing masks at the time of infection? Yes, I know that's an unanswerable question.

How so? I fail to see the link. Masks have been worn in this part of the world long before covid to protect from pollution. I'm sure that will continue when covid is just a memory.

Mental illness is difficult to define, but I do get fed up with wearing a mask. I find it difficult to breathe, and I've tried several kinds, also I do get angry about having to wear a mask all the time when I'm out. Sometimes I feel like ripping it off and going without. If that's a sign of mental illness, then you're not alone in you're questioning.

To be fair to 2/cb, there are problems for people who already have mental health problems when wearing a mask.

But then there are many situations which can trigger mental health issues.
