You'll get a big rest shortly. The whole thing, at least Group A, goes into hibernation for 3 months after this round. It will then end completely on Superbru after the September rounds, well before any finals or champion is decided in 2023.

Rather shocking results tonight!

Germany - Italy 5-2
England - Hungary 0-4

England's biggest loss on home soil since 1928 I believe!!!!

I started to watch the match but as Hungary scored their first goal I decided I’d be better off watching DIY SOS (if you’ve never heard of it, it’s a programme where literally a few hundred tradesman turn up to complete a house renovation project for a family in need in 9-10 days). It was a wise decision!!

LOL, I had friends driving up to watch it. Wolverhampton is bad enough but Wolverhampton to watch England is soooooo sad at the moment. Is Southgate doing his best to get sacked before Qatar? I'm glad I opted for beauty sleep over that debacle.

They've adjusted the Leaderboard since my first post this morning. New board has been inserted above.

I get the impression that after a long season they are not interested in playing this competition. They do need a break.
Also the games are to close together 4 days for 2 rounds in september, a waste of time.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

Round 5 Sept 23-25, and Round 6 Sept 26-28. Then that's the end of it concerning Superbru coverage.

I think the competition is good. They used to have non-meaningful friendlies during these dates. At least these matches have a meaning. I can understand the pommies not liking them, because "it's not coming home" (like most of the time    :tsk:)

Alas, probably not, but what an achievement when a 2nd Division Team brings home the World Cup from Qatar
