Lomuamart the expiry is Jan 2015 … in fact there are a few stamps. It appears they have first provided 90 days till Jan 2014 then a further "extension of stay is permitted up to” Jan 2015

You're a lucky man. I'd reckon that Imm have given you the upgrade from 30 day visa exempt stamp to single entry Non O that would give you till Jan 2014 (90 days) AND then issued the year's extension to Jan 2015 at the same time.
Mere mortals such as me would have had to go through the process twice - ie upgrade visa and then extension in due course. Two lots of payments and paperwork.
