Well have been a few days and nights in town and concluded that likely the Wildest Place in town is the Starbuck's Coffee shop!

Many of us are pensioners - there's no way our budgets could stretch to that.

I wouldn't have to manage my anger if people could learn to mange their stupidity!

Too exiting, too strenuous.
"There's no plausible or convincing reason, certainly no evidential one, to believe that there is such an entity (= deity) and that all observable phenomena, including the cosmological ones... are explicable without the hypothesis; you don't need the assumption."

No, the blood pressure couldn't take the combined FREE bowls and crazy golf there on a Saturday.STEVE G wrote:Raising hell at the lawn bowls, BB?Many of us are pensioners....

The wildness in Hua Hin is, without a doubt, limited to the karaoke bars after around 1ish. Be warned though... with wildness comes compete morons that you have to deal with whether it's an intended confrontation or not. I have had a good dance in Cat bar on the occasion without any hassle at all.
If that's your thing... that's where to go.

I wonder, if King Kong is still any good or even operational?johnnyk wrote:I haven't encountered any wild bars in HH but back in the day King Kong, soi 6, Pattaya, was pretty good. An "anything goes" joint, in full view. Cheap drinks, filthy girls and George Thorogood at high volume.

Well, had another good stroll over Soi 80 last night and.......it was pretty busy, but the large number of grandma's dressed in ill-fitted, over used ex-pattaya gogo dancer donated salvation army dresses is not
really my cup of thea. Had to take about 15 bottles of Leo before I started to notice 1 or 2 pretty pies.
Re: The Wildest Bar in Town
Hey, this is a retirement community for expats... why shouldn't it be a retirement community for the Thai beer bar girls as well?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: The Wildest Bar in Town
I've said it before and obviously I need to say it again: Hua Hin is not for you. You belong in Pattaya. Have a pleasant trip.Toni Pepperoni wrote:Ripcord wrote:Wild, is what you make of the moment your in,

Khun Napporn, who presided over the antics, sold it to a German guy 6-7 years ago. He was/is clueless and dour. He was playkng xmas carols one time, not the same as George Thorogood at max volume!curious_traveler wrote:I wonder, if King Kong is still any good or even operational?johnnyk wrote:I haven't encountered any wild bars in HH but back in the day King Kong, soi 6, Pattaya, was pretty good.
