Thank you for allowing free speech. Having said that if the topic is to remain open I think the title should be changed. There is no need for more attention to be drawn to the lady concerned. She deserves her privacy. I had not given that enough consideration and critics are right to point it out. My apologies.

As to 'childish' arguments, this is a perennial bugbear. If you are looking for a perfect forum where arguments don't take place, or personalities don't clash or discussions stay on-topic, I wish you good luck in finding one. I didn't resurrect the thread and to pretend members don't use the forum for entertainment is just being silly. That's one of its functions. If you don't care for other's arguments there are plenty of ways to avoid them.

sarge. I know why you asked the question. It's not difficult. You asked it the day AFTER I determined she was married. No concern from you prior to that point until I provided the information. Obviously her status becomes a game-changer, which the OP acknowledged. So what we are talking about is not that my intervention protected her from a 'creepy stalker' but the fact that the topic hit the front pages as a consequence of my objecting to what I saw as your double standard.

I can see you are now trying to play 'pin the donkey' but if anyone had a serious concern about this lady's privacy they had ample opportunity to ask moderators to kill it, not simply move it. That did not happen and still has not happened. Perhaps they saw it that no names have been mentioned and therefore the lady in actual fact has NOT been identified. If she had I'm quite sure the reference would have been deleted.

Whatever you may feel about the risk to the lady's privacy, which I look forward to you taking up with those who allowed the topic to stand, YOU are STILL not the man to wag the finger. You are operating a double standard. Period.
