Halfpenny is now also out for Wales. Will probably miss the SCotland game too. Recurrence of the ankle injury that kept him our of the Autumn internationals.

Not good news at all - if I'm not mistaken, now no long distance goal kicker in the squad. Would be useful against England as I see that being a bl**dy niggly game with a fair few penalties.

He was looking really sharp in his games back from injury an' all.

Hook is an option for the longer kicks but not as big a boot as Halfpenny.

I must admit - and I'm not just getting my excuses in first - but I don't fancy Wales this Friday. Don't get me wrong, England are nothing special but Wales seem to be in a bit of disarray at the moment. England do seem to be 'on the up' as well, with a bit of confidence to give them that extra yard.

Yep, certainly have my concerns for Friday's game...

No doubt we are going to struggle in the front row - I really see that as a weak point. Back-row/loose I think will be fairly evenly matched, with Wales having a slight advantage in the line-out. Still think it's a mistake having Hook at fullback - I think would be far better suited as a play maker at inside center.

If Wales manage to hold their own in the tight, we'll sneak it by 3-5.....

Still don't see you in the HHAD 6N League Jamie........

My heart is pounding and my pants are filling.

If England are to have any chance in this years world cup they have to dominate the 6 nations. If we don't then we might as well not bother traveling to New Zealand.

Come on England...
