The problem with most of the roadwork here is not how many layers of tarmac is laid, but what it is laid on, followed by how many overloaded 10 wheel trucks can now make a drag strip out of it. Good luck!

Which is why I stated:-

That 1300 has been being repaired at least since well before Christmas - I think that they are waiting for parts from their friendly Unipart store :lach:

I wonder what that mechanic is going to do regarding the disposal of all his old oil - it used to get dumped onto the dirt track road ........ :tsk:

I've always thought that one type of happiness is ice cold beer and a fishing rod 8)

For those of you like me who know little about fishing I suggest you go to Terrys fishing lodge and not do the following:

Tsunami at Hua Hin Fishing Lodge

Post by Terry »

Well - not quite

But

The effect of the earthquake yesterday, can clearly be seen 'slopping' the top pond at the Lodge

Check this out

This happened during the previous 'Boxing Day' event a few years back, but at that time there was nobody to video it.

The levels clearly change by about 30cm or 1ft

Aparantly one customer thought that it was caused by a 'big fish'.........

Who am I to argue?

Happy holidays to all - we are closed tomorrow and Saturday

We re open Sunday - Tsunamis permitting

Yes, in 2004 it woke me up in Hua Hin but in a sleepy state I wasn't sure what had happened and it was only when I saw the news later that I realised it had been a distant earthquake.

These are still one of the best fighting fish that you can find - just look at the size of that tail, compared to the body
