Chinese tourists (and their habits) surge into Thailand

Chinese style restaurants still seem to be the only places in town that are regularly busy though, esp the hot pots and malatangs. In much of HH, they are the only places with any customers.

But one has just closed on Phetkasem Road near Condo Chain...

Media representation is still important to many Chinese tourists. They may not hear about all the kidnappings and forced labour on the official news, but the movies tell them a very similar, disturbing story.
