For me I must admit some of the excitement has been taken out the game after the chopping and changing in the selection by the coaches especially the BOD fiasco and what seems a biased selection by them. I would imagine that there would be 11 welsh players playing if Sam Warbuton was not injured. However the coach is the coach and we will see if the keep the ball, power approach gets us over the gain line after we retain possession at set pieces.

Let's hope we have a great exiting game!

Forgot to mention BOD is going through what I went through on 30/07/1966 when that bastard SAR left me out of the world cup a day never passes without me thinking about the hat trick I would have scored. We won that day, I was still unhappy! Will BOD have the same feeling after the game?

41 vs 16 - ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS LIONS!!!!

For you tossers who chose not to support the Lions because of selection etc...... Choose another sport to insult - you are not welcome amongst true supporters of the game.

[EDIT] Obviously not referring to any Forum members...... just the muppets on various other boards!!

Well - of course, apart from that bleedin' Yorkshire man Richard who picked the Wallabies for a win as there were too many Welsh players selected. Richard, your honorable membership of Cardiff is now under review...

   Hanging my head in shame

Actually, I picked way before the team changes were made so a little hasty as assumed the Lions team that lost the second test would hardly be changed.

Excuses, excuses. Never mind a well deserved result and congrats to all those who are above me on Superbru (the lot I think). N'er mind, I like wooden spoons

OK Captain, can you explain the top 3 positions in our league? Why is lindos above me? Why am I above you? We've been ranked 1, 2 & 3 as opposed to 1=.

It doesn't bother me, after all, it's just a bit of fun. However, I am intrigued to know.

Yes massive game played by the Lions, really enjoyed it and thumping victory to boot. It was a great 3 test series but in all honesty I expected tonight's performance in the other two tests, greedy me. However we won a series at long last. Whose up next 'shiver me timbers'

Fantastic display & a terrific victory

Just for the record, i backed the Aussies on superbru for purely tactical reasons.
As it happens, i didn't second guess Lindos anyway! :(

Had i stuck to my guns i would have ended with 12.5 pts :cuss: :banghead: :cuss:
You live & learn :D

Congrats to Big boy, Lindos & Capt Harvey, i think a 3 way tie & a shared championship is a fair outcome . . . .

I backed the Aussies, but when I saw Richard had picked them I knew it was the wrong pick. Only joking Richard Agree with RZR 3 way tie a good result.

One minute I was singing Bread of Heaven and Swing Low for the benefit of my Swedish neighbour, the next I was waking up at 3 in the morning desperate for a pee.
Must have been something I ate...

Apart from the first 5 minutes the streaming was perfect.

The rugby was astonishing. Jimmy Greaves said he'd been expecting this from the start of the series, and in a way he's right. Putting the BOD nonsense (thankfully) to one side, through injuries and form, Gatland seems almost to have stumbled across his best side by accident.

Anyway, fantastic Lions rugby from the get go. Apart from that shaky few minutes before and after half time, they played it perfectly, playing the power game and expanding later in the game. But all based on the hugely solid foundation provided by the scrum.
The forwards were monstrous - I almost felt sorry for Australia. Okay, bit of an exaggeration...
Heroes to a man and Alun Wyn Jones led from the front.
Alan Jones was taken off early again, but presumably the management know their man by now and that must have been his limit. But once again there was no blip when Cole came on.
Phillips may be the only player disappointed with his contribution, but it didn't matter in the end.

North outstanding, Halfpenny flawless in every respect, even Sexton is starting to look like a good fly half (though I didn't like the sulking when he was subbed - leave that for the soccer pitch).

Fantastic game and an absolute thrashing for the Wallabies - no question of luck anywhere.

Now I think I might go back to bed for an hour or two...
This is the way

Just watched a recording of the post-match interview with Gatland and AW Jones - they looked so depressed you'd think they were the ones who'd been thrashed!

Of course, it's asking a lot the way things are these days to drag people off for an interview after a game. They even stop people on the way off the pitch at half-time.
This is the way

It's a fair question BB as I see no rhyme nor reason why the likes of yourself or Lindos could possibly finish higher than myself with my gypsy-like predictions...... A conundrum indeed!! :D

I did have a look at the full points table and even Bonus Points or Margin Points don't tie into the final positions. On Yellow Caps, you and I have won twice, Lindos once.......

Personally however, I shall offer my congratulations to yourself and Lindos, and my thanks to all that took part in the league   I will now savour the Lions series victory and 25 point winning margin over the Wallabies!!!

DM, agree 100% with what you have said - superb performances all round with the exception of Phillips who I was hugely disappointed with. I would add that the real standout performances were AWJ and Alex Corbisiero who had an absolutely massive game - big, big hand!!

[EDIT] And a special mention for Geoff Parling and a rather special try saving tap tackle!! :thumb:

And of course - Leigh Halfpenny... Can you believe that in the fallout after the whole selection saga, there were some comments on discussion boards questioning what he had done other than "kicking a few penalties"....... there really are some @rseholes around!!

Once again, congrats to the Lions players, management, coaches and entire team for a magnificent display.

Bring on The Blackness in 2017!!!

In reality, the only reason you didn't win outright was because of a glitch entering your prediction in Round 2, so we should really congratulate you
