Do any of the Heroes use a trash collecting tool such as this:

Hoping to buy one locally and make it on Sunday of course..
Anyone seen them for sale?
Cheers,

I found a pretty good 'litterpicker' model available in the U.K.
I'd appreciate a few more to donate if anyone you know can fit in their suitcase....
I bought a couple of their similar models and they work surprisingly well.

Some of our group down here found trash pickers at market village. I'm not sure which store but can ask Monday. They work OK although fairly cheaply made.

We had one member who brought back a bunch from Europe, they worked very good and durable

The ones similar in appearance to the ones I've seen in the Hua Hin Trash Heroes page are available at the 20 Baht Shop located in the Circle. Cost, you've guessed it, 20 Baht. No idea of quality though.

At 20 Baht, I would guess not too good, but at that price worth a gamble.

Most of the items you find in those type of shops are from business's that have closed down, old stock or fell off the back of a truck. The price does not reflect the quality.

But the question is: where is the "Circle"? Or is it next to that restaurant without an address?

The Circle is the newish bar/food area between Sois 94 and 88. Think Ban Khun Por but without the ear bursting music, and space to swing a cat. Quite popular with younger Thais.

36 Heroes, including a team from Bluport and 1 child cleared 120 Kg of trash from North Takiab Beach yesterday. Volume was high, but weight was low due to the amount of Styrofoam cleared.

Another really great effort. Thank You to everybody involved.
